Bella's Diary

6/21/2007

I got to meet a new dog yesterday! She was really quiet but really nice too. Mom and Dad took me to this weird place with all these animals and some weird lady took me away for a minute. But she was really nice and pretty too so I was really good for her. I just stood there then all of a sudden she poked me! Two times! Mom and Dad told me that I got all my shots now so I don't get sick and that I have a chip so they can find me if I ever get lost. Whatever it all is, it makes me itch all over! And it's made me crazy! I can't sit still at all and I barely slept at all last night.

Dad has been home two days in a row now! It has been really fun to play with him all day and not have to be alone in the kennel. He surprised me and took me to see mom in the middle of the day at her work. I wanted to stay with her but they wouldn't let me.

On Tuesday we went for a really long drive that was really bumpy and windey too. Sara and Lara came with us and I was okay for awhile but I really had to pee. I tried to hold it but I couldn't when mom finally let me stick my head out the window it came out! I got her all wet and I felt really bad but she told me it's ok and she loves me and she knows I didn't mean it. She didn't even yell at me or anything! THen when we finally got where we were going Dad tied me up on a long leash outside. I liked to lay in the grass and play but Mom and Dad kept going inside and I had to stay outside. I got a little lonely and bored but it was fun to be outside for so long!

I can't wait to find out what "camping" is this weekend. Mom and Dad keep talking about it and I am getting really curious!

6/19/07

Today is a pretty good day. I managed to get up on the bed this morning and neither mom nor dad yelled at me to get off and I got to sleep there for about a half an hour. Woo-hoo. And I didn't even have to pee! I was very good when we took mom to work, I waited right by the car door for her to lift me in since I'm not tall enough to jump in myself yet. I snuggled with her in the car on the way to take her to work and she didn't want to leave me. Melissa came to see me today and I was so exited! She took me for a walk and I kissed her face lotta times! I was so glad that she came over today cause nobody came to see me yesterday. Last night some strangers came over to the house and I was really shy. I stayed with mom on the couch and let her pet me the whole time. I kept my eye on them though and as soon as they were gone it was play time again! Dad fed the cats some really yummy smelling food and I tried to hard to eat some but he put their plates on the counter and I can't quite reach. But then he was really nice and gave a spoonful of it to me. It was so good! I gobbled it right up. It's the first treat I've had since I have been sick on Saturday! Mom was a little mad at him for giving it to me though. Mom told me last night that we're going camping this weekend and I'm going to be a good "camping dog" . I don't know what that is though. Guess I'll find out soon!

6/14/07

Last night when mommy got home late she was really upset and I kept chewing on the furniture and boxes and everything to get her attention. But she was too busy. Later, I ran in the neighbors yard cause I smelled something cool but she came and got me. I didn't want to hold still. Mommy went to bed early and Daddy stayed up with me. He couldn't get me to calm down. I wanted to play with Ty all night and I kept barking at him to come get me but he wouldn't. At least I didn't have to sleep in the kennel.
Today has been a really tough morning for me. Daddy put me in the kennel this morning before we took mommy to work. He doesn't usually do that until we get back home and I was really sad. I was a good girl this morning too! When we got home from taking mommy to work he put me in the kennel again and I knew he was going to leave me all day. I was really sad and freaking out. I hope mommy doesn't get home as late as she did yesterday and I hope someone comes to visit me before that. I am so sad today
