 Quick Bio:
Likes: Tie between meeting new dogs and laying on the carpet in front of the TV on mommy's floor pillows chewing on a toy

Pet-Peeves: Haven't told my owner yet

Favorite Toy: Mr. Crab before I took all the stuffing out of him - tie between my rope bone and peanut butter kong

Favorite Food: Peanut Butter Treats

Favorite Walk: Up and down Cypress Street - lots of people to see and a few leftover lunch crumbs now and then

Best Tricks: I know how to sit, stay and shake pretty well. Come is a FOREIGN concept - at least when other doggies are around!

Arrival Story: My owner Michelle wanted to adopt a dog for a long time. She prayed for a puppy just like me. One day, she say my picture online at the ATL Humane website - thought I was real cute - and sent the pictures to her friends. When they went to look at me - I was gone! Then, a week later on Mother's Day, she was eating at West Egg, jumped online on her laptop and saw my picture again. She knew she had to meet me. I was excited to meet her and knew she would be an awesome mommy. Michelle adopted me that day and I went to the clinic to get snipped. The reason my picture was offline? I had a case of kennel cough and was in the clinic all week - it was destiny for us to be together :)

Bio: My mommy was a black and tan redbone coonhound and my daddy was most likely a Doberman. I've grown a lot since mommie adopted me and am 43lbs now and have big paws...I think I'll be nice and big very soon! I sniff and track really well and love to chase after birds, bugs and other interesting creatures.

Yippee - I'm 11 months old today! Mommie was a little sad...I guess she thinks I should stay little forever. I had a fun day. Played with my pup pals at Barking Hound Village, smooched my girlfriend, and loved on my teachers. Then I came home and had special pork treats and curled up in front of the TV.

Yeaaaa - I graduated from my PetSmart Beginner's Class yesterday!!! Mommie was so proud of me - everyone said I should be valedictorian (whatever that means). She even got a picture of me wearing that crazy cap. I didn't really like wearing it that much, but I looked cute (see my picture at the bottom). Now, I'm ready for the big dogs :)

What an awesome Saturday its been! Mommie and I slept in late because she stayed out so late at the VA Highlands Octoberfest...we then got ready with my schoolbag and went to my Second Obedience Class at the Midtown PetSmart. My pal Dude was there along with a new doggie named Freda. My teacher Ms. Rebecca was there and the class was real good. We learned to pay attention when our named is called, to walk without pulling (something I like to do a lot!) and pay attention for a certain period of time. Whew! I was good in the class so I got lots of treats. Afterwards, mommie bought me some new ball toys and we left to go to Piedmont Dog Park.
This was the best fall day in Atlanta....we got to the dog park for "Dogs and Dames Day Out 3". This time my friends Bella and her mommie Ms. Tara, Val and his mommie Ms. Carla and Salem and her mommie Aunt Mitzi were there. We played lots and I got to run around without my leash - YEAAA! Afterwards we walked over to Park Tavern where our mommies good have lunch. It was very nice - they talk alot! Then, my mommie and her friends surprised all of us with a very special treat called a "Lick-A-Lot". Its a yummy yogurt popsicle....paw lickin good :)
I can't wait till we get to do this again - I wish everyday was Saturday so I could play with mommie and her friends.
