He loved being cuddled and he liked to play with his brother, Biz.

He couldn't play unfortunately, never learned how, but he did seem to like to steal the cat toys :)

Favorite Food:
He loved anything and everything

Favorite Walk:
He liked to go to the beach

Best Tricks:
He never quite got the hang of catching food tossed at him and wore most of it, but he kept right on trying LOL

Arrival Story:
Chewie was Biz litter brother. He was a long hair so couldn't be shown or bred on with and at that stage wasn't suitable for work situations (coat not waterproof), so he was placed in a pet home. He had a dreadful time to say the least, and when he was found walking the streets at 8 years of age, I pulled rank and produced ownership papers from when he was 8 weeks of age ... they had never been transferred to his pet owner. We therefore took him home and he lived with us until he died at twelve years of age.

Bio:
He had been so badly treated that he had broken bones that had healed up all wrong, rib cage and even breastbone had signs of breaks. He cringed and wet himself he was so scared. After a year of rehabilitation and TLC with our family and his dawgie mother and brother, he finally, one day, came running to us when we called him instead of cringing at the bottom of the garden in fear. It was one of the most special days of our lives that this guy had managed to find trust in humans again. He always remained kindhearted and bore no malice towards the human race that had treated him so badly. He was a great and kind hearted dog and fantastic ambassador for his breed.
