Quick Bio:
-purebred

Likes:
Giving kisses, cuddling, biting toes and ankles, stealing underwear and other small items (pens, tissues, etc.), cat poop (apparently some kind of delicacy), her "papa," playing with the cats, snow. Also likes the phrases "Papa's home!" and "Cookie?"

Pet-Peeves:
Louds noises, doorbells, cleaning appliances, being groomed and cleaned, not being the center of attention, being left alone if only for half a minute.

Favorite Toy:
EVERYTHING is a toy! But she particularly likes her "baby" (stuffed dog), her rope toy, and any toy that technically belongs to the cats.

Favorite Food:
Whatever the cats are eating, pig's ears (the fake kind), vanilla wafers ["nilly wafers"] and cheerios, ice cubes in her water when it's hot.

Favorite Walk:
She likes to sit in the yard and bark at people, but also enjoys walks around the neighborhood if possible.

Best Tricks:
Sits for her treats. Treats are sometimes used as a bribe when she won't come in the house.

Arrival Story:
My dad was interested in getting a dog, and after my sister and I bugged and bugged, we (well, he) finally settled on a Pomeranian. There was an old couple who bred the dogs not too far away from us so one day we drove over to see the puppies. We almost got her older brother, but decided on the loud Shania (her name at the time because she "sang" a lot - my sister quickly nixed that name). Sometime later we got to take her home, and she's been the queen and resident demon ever since (hence her middle name, "Desdemona," which means "of the devil").

Bio:
Shortly after getting Chloe we found out she had a heart murmur. The surgery was expensive but my sister and her boyfriend of the time contributed money and somehow there was enough. When my dad called the breeder to complain about this, they talked as though she were defective merchandise and could be easily put to sleep. We couldn't allow them to have her back! She got through all of it fine - although now rather leary of car rides. Chloe is the noisiest dog I've ever known. She moans when someone picks her up, when she's stretching, when she's sleeping - she moans for everything! It started after her surgery but we're not sure if there's a connection. She is also the center of attention whereever we go. People always have to catch a glimpse or ask us about her. She is very small, only about 5 pounds, and could easily be carried around in a purse or bag but we don't do so because she gets so excited around busy places she'd cause a ruckus. I would also like to point out that as a result of growing up with our two cats, she thinks she herself is a cat, often cleaning herself or doing other cat-like things. The cats no longer live with us (my mom took them last year), and we have since moved from her first home, but she has two new family members, Beaker and Jack, that she gets to play with when she visits my sister and her live-in boyfriend.
