Likes:
I like to sleep, and eat, and jump. I also like to spaz out sometimes when I come in from outside and I'm feeling frisky. I'll go tearing around the house, up and down off the furniture. Mom says I'm cute.
Pet-Peeves:
I really don't like when other dogs come around me or my family or my yard. When I was young, I jumped the fence and chased away a Chow 2x my size. Mom couldn't believe it; she said I was lucky the other dog was a wuss. I said HE was lucky I let him go!
Favorite Toy:
I liked to play with lots of stuff when I was younger. I don't play much these days, but when I do, Anna is my favorite toy!
Favorite Food:
I'll eat anything. Seriously, anything.
Favorite Walk:
I'll go anywhere and everywhere. I love to walk!
Best Tricks:
I'm not as young as I used to be, but in my prime I could jump up into Mom's arms if I got a two or three step running start. Mom said I won an honorable mention in a shelter dog trick contest. I was just waiting to get to the hot dog eating competition!
Arrival Story:
When I was a pup, about 3 months old, my mom was volunteering at the shelter I was living in. She and her mom took me and another pup, Anna, to a local pet store to showcase us for adoption. They both loved us, but no one was interested in adopting. The next weekend we were both still at the shelter, so Mom and her mom took us to the store again. And they fell even deeper in love with us. The following week they called the shelter and found out we were STILL there. So they adopted us and took us home!
Bio:
I'm a good boy overall. I get a little testy with dogs I don't know, but hey, that's what they get for sniffing me! I really had Mom frazzled for years cause I have separation anxiety. I kept ripping my way out of crates and making big messes. I ruined some furniture and some carpet, and hurt myself a few times, too. Mom tried a lot of things over the years, but nothing seemed to help my stay calm. Until Prozac! Now I can be at home alone and be okay, and Mom usually doesn't want to strangle me, so it works out pretty well for both of us. My best bud is my sister Anna. Since we were adopted at the same time and grew up together, we're pretty much inseparable. She's a good kid. When we were little I used to pull her around by her tail. Ok, I'll be honest: I still do it when I get hyper and we're wrestling. But she doesn't seem to mind!
