I love to burrow! And I like to bounce up straight up and down. Mom is amazed how high I can bounce!
Pet-Peeves:
I HATE it when I'm sleeping under a blanket or cushion and one of my brothers or sisters or cats walks across me. It really annoys me, and I let them know. Mom thinks it's funny when the tiny lump under the blanket barks and growls.
Favorite Toy:
I don't really play with toys. I'm too refined for that.
Favorite Food:
I love everything, but especially the little pieces of cheese Mom puts my medicine in.
Favorite Walk:
I love going from the front door to the car, cause it means I get to go somewhere! Sometimes I get to walk to the mailbox or the garage with Mom, too.
Best Tricks:
I don't do tricks. I'm too refined for that, too. But I'm pretty good at hiding.
Arrival Story:
I can't really say where I spent my first 5 or 6 years, but somehow I ended up at the shelter where my mom worked. Everyone on staff loved me to pieces, and they didn't understand why no family ever came to claim me. I got adopted right away, but the lady didn't want me when she found out I had heartworms, whatever those are. Mom took me home to foster, and that was it!
Bio:
Mom treated me for heartworms, but I still have some heart problems that I take medicine for. I also have some emphysema, and boy oh boy do I make some odd sounds when I cough! Mom says I have the best temperament she's ever seen in a tiny dog, and my vet loves me, too. I love to cuddle, and did I mention I like to burrow?!?! When my mom first brought me home, after a few hours she noticed she hadn't seen me for a while. She started calling for me, and I heard her but I didn't answer. I wanted to see what would happen! Then she started looking in crates, checking inside cabinets and under furniture, and double- and triple-checking the doors and windows. She was pretty upset she couldn't find me, but I thought it was funny. Then she walked across the dog bed where I was hiding under the blanket, and she almost stepped on me! Then I had to let her know where I was. Now Mom always knows to check under blankets and cushions, inside pillowcases, and inside clothes when she can't find me. She also thinks it's funny that the smallest cat that lives here is more than twice my size. I don't find that very amusing.
