Likes: Winter time - Frozen Poopsicles - loves them...can't get enough of them!
Pet-Peeves: Hates when he poops and we scoop depriving him of his very favorite treat!
Favorite Toy: A big old bone that he has had since we got him. He takes great delight in digging it out of the toy box in the middle of the night to drop it on the ceramic tiles scaring the "you know" out of us!
Favorite Food: Anything - and I do mean anything even remotely edible or not nailed down!
Favorite Walk: Along the beach where he plays chase me catch me with the waves.
Best Tricks: He shakes a paw quite nicely but failed miserably at the sit command in obedience class!
Arrival Story: We wanted a second dog and saw a program on t.v. about rescued racing greyhounds. Anyone who knows me, knows that is all it takes to get me going on something. I did my research. Read all the books I could get my hands on and went in search of a rescue group in Ontario, Canada. Came up with Niagara Greyhound Adoption as the only choice for us. A couple of months later we brought our boy home and lived happily ever after! We decided to begin fostering for the group and have had the joy of having many greyhounds go through us before they get to their forever homes! One of which, we fell in love with and just had to keep...but THAT is another story - please see Mickey's homepage for that!
Bio: We lost our Warley to bone cancer in March of this year. Didn't even know the poor boy had a problem. The vet told us Warlock hadn't read the "Pain" paragraph in the medical books. It happened so fast. It has been so hard. Run free my black beauty. Run free.
