Arrival Story:
Chloe's original owner could no longer take care of a big, drooling newf. We on the other hand are experienced newfie servants and have more than enough love, spoiling and drool towels for this dear girl. After a long, envolved series of strange circumstances she joined our family, much to Wellington's delight.

Chloe immediately acclimated herself into our pack and has shown herself to be sweet, playful and needy of affection. (Although I suspect she has secret aspirations of one day becoming alpha dog). Shortly after Chloe joined our family we discovered she had a limp which was getting progressively worse. She was diagnosed with a torn ACL which she had evidentally had for a long period of time. She underwent surgery to remove the torn meniscus and stablize the knee (which involved cutting the bones near her knee, realigning them and securing them with a metal plate and screws). She is now almost fully recovered. She and her brother Wellington (who had five similiar surgeries for hip and elboe displaysia) can now run and play together without pain! We are so grateful that Chloe and Wellie came into our lives! Update: Chloe passed away after a short battle with bone cancer. She is forever in our hearts. Rest peacefully sweet girl!
