After sneaking out of the gate, Oliver loved to take off and give me a good workout trying to catch him.

Oliver understood pointing. He also liked to eat the bugs in the house.

Arrival Story:
Oliver was one of 6 dogs living with an old fellow who had Alzheimer's. When I got him from the Humane Society at approx. one year of age, he was unfamiliar with having a name, knew no commands, and had never been on a leash. The first thing he did when we got him home was lift his leg on every piece of furniture in the living room. From there, it could only get better!

Bio:
Oliver was a wonderful little dog who, at died peacefully at age 16. He displayed infinite patience with me and is now my doggie angel. Oliver was a wire-haired dachshund X (probably terrier).
