Arrival Story:
Bo came to us on September 23, 2003. She is the dog-daughter of our landlords dog. Bo became a certified therapy dog in January 2004 (at 4 months!) and now works with her human-mom in Napa. Bo loves to help people feel better & she does a great job! When she's not working, she loves sleeping, playing with her brother Floyd, watching out for intruders in her yard & barking at the birds. She also loves to sleep in the bed with her human parents!
She is kind of cranky sometimes, but that's mostly when strangers come by "her house"-she feels it's necessary to let them know that she's the boss of the house!
Bio:
Bo is short for Bodhisattva. A Bodhisattva is a Buddhist who achieves enlightenment but chooses to stay on Earth to help others. Because Bo is a therapy dog who helps lots of people, her human-parents thought that the name was fitting. However, it's a big name for a dog, so she goes by Bo!
