New Friend!

Last night the girl and I got in the car and went to a new house I'd never seen before. When we got there, there was another Chin! But he was little. We played and played for over an hour! I had so much fun! I can't wait to play with him again, he's so cool! He even knows some neat tricks that I haven't learned yet. I'm so happy to have a new friend who is just like me (but smaller)!

Outside?

The girl keeps telling me that we are going to the park tomorrow morning! Yay! She has been taking a lot of pictures of me lately. We got new shelves in the living room, and a nice basket to keep all my toys in. She says that new people will be living here soon, but I haven't met them yet. I hope they will give me lots of attention and treats!

Fun!

Last week I got to spend many days with my girl's family. They were very fun and spoiled me a lot. I got lots of treats, I got to run in the grass, I got to sit out in the yard and feel the breeze run through my hair. It was GREAT!

This weekend my girl took me to the dog park. I got to ride in my special backpack while she biked us there. There was a big dog there who was obsessed with me and followed me every where. It annoyed me. The dogs there that day were pretty boring. Maybe next time it will be more fun.

These are the peoplein my neighborhood

I love it when my girl takes me for walks! I have so many friends here that I want to go see. First there are the people 2 houses down. The dad and the kids are really niceto me and pet me a lot. Then at the end of the block is the place where old people live. The matinence man there is nice to me. He calls me 'young man' and tells me to go find a girlfriend. Then there are a few people at the old folks home who are my friends,but my favorite is Benji's mommy. They are usually sitting on the bench outside. Benjiis a yorkie. He's cool,but I really just want a pet from his mommy. Then at the next corner there are aBUNCh of kids who love me, but sometimes they get loud and scare me! And I can't forget Sam across the street. He was my first friend on our street and I love to see him!

I was sick the other night. Just before my walk, I was sleeping on the couch and I felt funny. I stood up and puked. The girl cleaned it up and took me for my walk. I was doing ok, but before we got back to the house I puked again on the sidewalk. When we got back inside I was feeling REALLY bad. I puked a bunch more. Then I finally calmed down and went to sleep. The girl was very scared, she slept with me on the couch all night to make sure I was ok. By the time I woke up in the morning I was back to my old self...must have been something I ate.

Fun Weekends!!

Last weekend I had the funnest time EVER! My girl has this carrier for me that is a backpack. It has mesh sides so I can look out and feel the air. I get to ride in it when she is on the bike! Last weeknd we went for a long ride over the Williamsburg Bridge, and across Manhattan to the dog run by the Chelsea Piers. It was so much fun! There were hills to run on and dogs to play with. I FINALLY got to play with bigger dogs for the first time! I chased them and ran with them. They're not so tough! I drank some water, then we biked over to a music store, and I got to go inside because I was in a backpack! Then we met some of the girl's friends. They ate dinner in Thompkins Sq Park and I was getting antsy to go play again in the dog run there. So the girl took me over and I ran and ran and ran. I love playing with the other little dogs because they think I am a king. They follow my every move. I'm the boss!! Two dog runs in one afternoon, I'm the luckiest dog ever!

My face getting itchy

Last week the girl and I went up to the country to see her family. While there, I went to the vet and they gave me shots. It hurt me so much that I SCREAMED when the doctor poked me with the needles. We went to the girl's parent's house after and I was playing with my cat-cousins. The girl's Mom noticed that I kept itching my face with my paws and started to rub my face against the couch. She asked the girl if I was scratched by a cat. The girl picked me up and looked at my face then grabbed the phone. Before I knew it, I was back in my carrier and in the car. When they took me out of the car, I was back at the vet's again. The girl told them that my eyelids and muzzle had swollen to twice their normal size. The lady at the desk said I had a reaction to my shots. They took me into a room with a metal table and stuck me with a needle again. They said this one would help the itching to go away. And it did.
Then yesterday I was at work with the girl. I was grubbing around under desks and found the best chew-toy: a tube of lipstick! But before I could chew it all up the girl took it away from me. But believe me, I sure got my taste of lipstick! The girl said my breath stank of it. About a half hour later I woke up from my nap and ran right to the leg of a chair andtried my hardest to scratch my face with it. My face was so itchy again. The girl laughed and asked me what I was doing. When she looked at me, she said "Oh no, not again." She picked up the phone and talked to some people. Before I knew it we were in the car on the way to Walgreens. When we got home she took out a spoon and tried to get me to lick what was on it, but I didn't like the taste. So the girl's boyfriend held me while she opened my mouth and dumped it in. The girl said I should like it because it asted like bubblegum. I gagged, it was so disgusting. She told me to stop and said "the benedryl will make the swelling go down. This will teach you to stay out of things you shouldn't have." The girl told me I am allergic to something in the lipstick and that I can't eat it anymore. I can never eat the good things!

Snow and Ice

When it's really really cold outside, my girl makes me wear my sweater. I like the really really cold days because my sweater is cool, and it keeps me warm! It snowed a lot a couple of weeks ago. If was big fluffy snow that was taller than me. People had to shovel a trail so that I wouldn't get burried when I went outside to do my business. I LOVE snow! It's so much better than rain! Snow is fun. I wish the ground was always covered with crisp white fluffy snow. Snow snow snow!

All this holiday business

I'm not completely sure what all this fuss is about, it's getting cold outside, and people are hanging lights and other shiny things. Last weekend, my girl took me to her parent's house. They ate lots of food and gave me some turkey. I got to go in the car to the girl's grandma's house and play with her aunt's cocker spaniel called Lou-eeze. Lou-eeze didn't really want to play though, she acted scared of all my energy! After that, the girl and I got back in the car and went to the guy's house. There were lots of people there, and all they talked about was me. I guess this day is called Thanksgiving, it was my first one. But I was thankful for the NEXT day, when the girl and her mom took me to see Judy and her 2 Chin Nikki and Keizu. We had so much fun! Judy taught me new tricks and dressed me up and took my picture! I didn't want to leave, but Judy was taking Nikki and Keizu to a parade! The girls says we can go back and visit around "Christmas"...whatever that is. I had a lot of fun on my vacation, but I was very happy to get home and get back to chewing on the cats. I missed them.
