Likes:
I like attention!! And if you don't give it to me, I will go harass the cats!

Pet-Peeves:
I hate it when the people make me stay by myself when they go off and have fun. I also don't like getting wet, taking a bath, or walking on wet ground. Seeing unfamiliar dogs also upsets me.

Favorite Toy:
I like to fetch the mini-tennis ball, or small stuffed animals that are around. I like to play tug-o-war with the soft rope. I like greenies chews, and I have a big bone I like to hide. If I can't find a spot to hide it, I will cry. But I LOVE cat toys.

Favorite Food:
I love love love Liver Treats and Beggin Strips!

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere new with interesting smells!

Best Tricks:
I know "sit", "down", and "come closer," "paw," "foot," "crawl," "come," "leave it," "stay"

Arrival Story:
I was adopted by My Girl through Lucky Chin Adoptions, a Japanese Chin rescue group based in Ohio. I was originally from a pet store (before that, a puppy mill in Arkansas...that place was the worst!) where I was purchased by a Papillion breeder along with an unrelated, mismarked female Chin. We were great friends and the lady wanted us to be a mommy and daddy. For some reason she changed her mind and gave us to the nice people at Lucky Chin. I spent a few months with a lovely woman named DeAnna who was my foster mom. Back then, she called me 'Higgins.' The weekend of August 1, 2004 I was put in a car and driven from to Pennsylvania, where My Girl drove to get me. Then I was called 'Milo.'

Bio:
I loved living in New York City. There was a great dog run, and great people. The only thing I hated was the big dogs. They scared me and I barked a lot at them. I love chasing my cat brothers around and wrestling them, chewing on Walter. I also have 2 chin friends Upstate who I get to visit once in a while. They have a big fenced in yard, and we have so much fun together. I hope I can have a chin brother or sister someday. I had lots of friends on my block. Most are people, but my best dog friends were Benji the yorkie, Benji the chihuahua, Cookie the Shih tzu, and Bad Boy the Pomeranian. And then there was my chin friend from a few blocks away. His name is Higgins! Now I live a country life in Upstate NY. There are extra people around to spoil me and to play with. But I miss my city friends.

Last night the girl and I got in the car and went to a new house I'd never seen before. When we got there, there was another Chin! But he was little. We played and played for over an hour! I had so much fun! I can't wait to play with him again, he's so cool! He even knows some neat tricks that I haven't learned yet. I'm so happy to have a new friend who is just like me (but smaller)!

The girl keeps telling me that we are going to the park tomorrow morning! Yay! She has been taking a lot of pictures of me lately. We got new shelves in the living room, and a nice basket to keep all my toys in. She says that new people will be living here soon, but I haven't met them yet. I hope they will give me lots of attention and treats!

Fun!

Last week I got to spend many days with my girl's family. They were very fun and spoiled me a lot. I got lots of treats, I got to run in the grass, I got to sit out in the yard and feel the breeze run through my hair. It was GREAT!

This weekend my girl took me to the dog park. I got to ride in my special backpack while she biked us there. There was a big dog there who was obsessed with me and followed me every where. It annoyed me. The dogs there that day were pretty boring. Maybe next time it will be more fun.
