My new home

Rudy to the Rainbow Bridge

Today Rudy left us for the Rainbow bridge at about 12:15 am. He was only with us a couple of weeks but he was one of the sweetest dogs I ever knew. He will be buried in the yard under the big shade tree next to our fur baby Willow who went to the Rainbow Bridge 11 months ago. Rudy will always be in our thoughts and was loved by many people in the last couple weeks of his life.

Trip to the VET LADY!!!

Mom took me to the Vet Lady today. Let me tell you they did things that no one should do to a furkid. I weighed 46lbs. That part wasn't bad. She listened to my lungs and they made too much noise she said. My breathing is too labored and that really displeased her. They lifted my tail 3 times and inserted objects in there. Now if you ask me that should never be allowed, especially when a guy is already feeling bad. Then they sent my Mommy home and took me in the back where they drew blood and started an IV. Said I needed fluids. The blood said I had a bad infection. I was really worried that my new Mommy didn't want me anymore because I was sick. When the fluids were finished they put my leash on me and took me through a door. There was my new Mommy, she had come back for me. Now that I am home she gives me some pills that the Dr. gave me she said they should make me feel better. I am so glad my Mommy loved me enough to come back for me. I don't want to be in another home or on the streets again.

I'm Home

Well Mom has done her best to keep me quiet since I got to my new home. She says with lots of prayers after June 26 I will get to play.

I can't believe that she is going to let me stay. On the way home I tried to steal her bag of Frito's in the van. When I walked in the front door I marked the coffee table. Well I just had to let everyone know I was here. I went out to potty and marked all the plastic containers on the patio. Mom keeps washing them off and I keep having to go back and remark them. Sometimes my new Mom goes out in the back yard with Baby Asher Mini Schnauzer and makes me stay in my room in the house. Miss Ellie Mae said she doesn't care how cute I think her Fluffy Butt is that my nose is ugly and to back off. I'm a handsome dude and I just know she'll grow to love me and want my affections. Mom tells me that she's my sister and to leave her alone.

Tonight this guy they call Daddy is coming home. I heard he lives here but works out of town all week. I kind of scared to meet him but Ellie Mae and Asher really got excited when Mom told us Daddy would be home tonight. I got a feeling even if he doesn't like me Mom will still let me stay. Maybe it won't be such a good idea to mark him when he walks in the house. I don't think Mom was too pleased about the coffee table marking even though she didn't say anything about it just cleaned it up.

I think my Mom runs out of things to do because she keeps mopping floors and washing dog blankets.

I'll let everyone know later how my new family is adjusting to me.
