Likes: hopping around the house like a deer chasing the red laser light (has OCD over red laser light), when mom comes home (I cannot contain my excitement, I have to dance and smile), shredding paper, dancing, pig ears, terrorizing Brutus
Pet-Peeves: getting my teeth brushed, getting nails clipped, taking a bath, gettin' in trouble....basically anything to do with hygiene, and when Brutus comes within 2 feet of me when I have a treat
Favorite Toy: red laser light, ping-pong balls, tennis balls, I love to chase bugs (flies), strings, Brutus
Favorite Food: chicken jerkey, tuna, tri-tip, anything I can get my little paws on
Favorite Walk: around the block, especially parks or rivers or anywhere I can take off my leash.
Best Tricks: I have learned to sit, come, shake, give kisses and lay down. I can also dance, but not on command.
Arrival Story: My mommy wanted a playmate for my brother Brutus, because he was an only dog :(. She knew that she wanted a deep-red colored female Shiba Inu (because you can't have just one!) I came from a great breeder on a farm in Missouri! My mom looked at my breeders website right after I was born, but didn't decide to get another Shiba until three months later. My mom contacted my breeder to see if she was expecting another Shiba litter soon and found out that I, the puppy that had attracted my mom to my breeder in the first place, was still available! I rode on a plane all the way from Missouri to California, but it didn't phase me a bit! I was my usual happy self, when my mom took my stinky butt out of my crate and drove me to my new permenant home.
Bio: I am a 17 pounder. I am a Red Sesame, Female, Shiba Inu girl with concentrations of black on my muzzle and tip of tail. I get called Japanese Dancer because when I get excited I march in place and jump in circles, and it looks like I am dancing, but I don't yodel like my brother Brutus. I also smile when I am happy. But I am the protector of my family and will start barking 99 times out of 100 before my brother Brutus gets the hint.

Well, since I am pregnant I thought I would make mom jumps through hoops and ladders for me. She gets worried that I am not getting enough to eat, because I do not want to eat food piled on a plate. If I hold out long enough she will hand feed me every bite (my humans are trained so well). I also get a hard-boiled egg and cottage cheese everyday. This pregnancy thing would be even better if I didn't have these freakin' kids inside of me!
Mom took me to school with her yesterday! I know, I told her she was nuts. We drove to Sacramento, and she let me go inside her Depertment building with her! She said she just had to turn in a paper, so she took me in the Anthropology office! I am so spoiled! Everyone was looking at me, cuz I'm so cute, but also because you don't usually see dogs on a University campus! I rode in the elevator, which was really fun, but when mom made me walk down the stairs I got scared because they were soooo tall and noisy. I made her carry my royal butt. Then we were stuck in rush hour traffic, so I made the best of it by looking out the window, and making faces at the people next to us =^._.^=!
I went to the doctor yesterday to get my last round of shots plus my rabies shot! I offically am over the 10 pound mark, I weigh 10.1 pounds now. The vet said I am a very healthy little pup. No more shots until next year!
