She's good at sitting, giving paw, laying down, and usually comes very easily when you call her (unless she's outside and finds a tennis ball).
Arrival Story:
My mother's friend had a female and male dog that made little babies when nobody was paying attention : ) Roxy's mother Laila ended up giving bith to ten healthy puppies only a few short months after her first birthday. My mother and I went over everyday to help take care of the puppies, and it was only natural for us to take one home, because they were so adorable. We already had two other dogs, both which have passed since, but Roxy made a great companion for both of them.
Bio:
Roxy definitely isn't a puppy anymore! At 6 years old, she weighs nearly 85 lbs. and has become the protector of our family. She is very territorial, so some people might be afraid of her from far away. Don't let her looks scare you though, she is one of the friendliest dogs that there is. She loves little children and gets along well with other animals. During the three years that she has been with us, she has managed to wrap my mother around her fingers (paws actually...). There is nothing she doesn't get away with!! One look at her face and you can't help but smile at her, so when she is in trouble, it never lasts for long. She has managed to become a great pet for us, though. Never shy about giving us love and affection when we need it, and always looking to please us...she knows she'll get a treat if she does something good : ) We hope she'll be with us for a very long time to come.
