Arrival Story:
Six days after my beloved cat Max died at 21 years 8 months old, my friend Diana called to tell me that God left my puppy in her backyard. Chester was dirty, covered in fleas and exhausted. Diana brought her to work and others took her to the vet. I didn't go because I was afraid she was going to die and it was too soon after Max. I went home for lunch and by my front door was a package mailed from my parents. It contained a note saying how sorry they were about Max and a stuffed dog to "keep me company" until the real one came along. I drove to the vet and after two days of denying the inevitable Chester came home for good.
Bio:
Chester, and yes she is female, is named after the dog in Disneys "The Kid". She came to work with me for two months because she had separation anxiety (thanks Cayce for allowing it). She's smart, hyper, sweet, and a great companion.
