Birthday: March 1st 2005 Likes: Drives in the car and going to stores, playing with the water hose. Pet-Peeves: when the dog behind us jumps the fence and snarls at him Favorite Toy: cow hooves Favorite Food: Avoderm and Greenies Favorite Walk: At the park Best Tricks: Down, Wait, Leave it, drop it, watch me, bring it, sit, shake, come and a goofy trick momma taught us called mark, she points to a spot and says mark and we run to that spot, she also taught us to sneeze for a treat. Arrival Story: I searched the internet to find the right breed for our home and one that would fit in with my chihuahua's, my son suggested a jack russel but when I read up on them and talked to breeders they said it would not be good to have one with a chihuahua. I then did a profile on line and it recommended either another chihuahua or a rat terrier (which it said is a rare breed) I had no idea what a rat terrier was, I read up on them and felt they would be perfect for us. My son and I spent a few days driving around and looking at a few rat terriers that we had found in the paper, but many people seem to call any mixed breed of dog a rat terrier, as I saw none that looked like what I had seen on the internet. I then went back to the internet and looked for breeders in my area and I could only find a couple of breeders. First one I tried had moved to North Dakota and had one puppy she would ship to me, I told her that I would just look for one closer for now. I called the second breeder and she had puppies that would be available in a couple of weeks, my son and I drove for over an hour and went to look and we picked Tucker, so that is the story of how Tucker boy came to be with us. His breeder is a wonderful lady, she only breeds a couple of litters a year and has one male and two females, all of which reside in the home and are family dogs. Tucker and Brody's dad was the son of Champion King Roy from the firemountain line of rat terriers. His name was Bosco, he recently passed away from Valley Fever. RIP Bosco. Tucker is just one silly, goofy boy, he loves to play and does body flips and even rolls head over heals. He seems to be a very happy boy, he is the Jerry Lewis of dogs, his goal is to make everyone laugh.

1. I go crazy for greenies and will growl and bark when mommy says "greenie".
2. I love playing in the water when mommy turns the hose on.
3. I am afraid of really big dogs.
4. I love to lick my brother Brody's mouth and will do this until my brother pushes me away.
5. I love to do back flips onto mommy's lap and make mumbling noises so she will play with me.
Well yesterday momma took us to the vets office to weigh us and get some more heartquard. I'm usually an easy going guy, but I am afraid of really big dogs, they make me a little nervous, you see it all started when the big black lab and border collie behind us started jumping on the fence and growling at me, well one day momma was next to the fence watering the tree when the big black lab jumped up and snarled and showed his teeth to my momma, he was way to close to her and she jumped back, he really surprised her! I reacted and couldn't help myself I jumped and barked and just went crazy trying to protect my momma. Ever since then I have had a problem with the big guys, and yes especially black labs! Well back to the vet thing, any way while we were waiting a man walked in with a big dog and this big dog had no manners at all, he was on a long line and the man didn't pay any attention and let him run all over the place, this dog was running around like crazy and he ran over to us, he was way to excited and jumped on my back, hey didn't he notice I was a boy too? Well of course I got mad and tucked my tail and growled and barked and showed my teeth at him, he was so hyper and showed no manners at all! In obedience class we were taught to calmly go up to each other and do a little sniff and then back away, unless it was play time. This was a stranger to me and he scared me and I felt threatened. Well the owner turned around and gave us a disgusted look and had the nerve to say "come on boy, those dogs aren't friendly, they aren't very social!". Well geez it made my momma mad, because she felt this guy was in the wrong for not having any control over his dog and just letting it run around the office on one of those long retractable leashes. Some people just don't understand!
