Arrival Story:
Again, my mom was the one who brought her home. A lady at my mother's workplace had puppies who needed homes. My mom went to look at them without telling anyone else in our family. Unknown to us, she talked with my dad and he said okay.
Mom brought her home when we were all getting ready for bed. She really got along well with Sherwood, and became a great part of the family. She wasn't the smartest dog at first, but she is much smarter than we originally thought! She surprises us sometimes.
Bio:
Too sad of a story to elaborate, but Serena died suddenly on January 17th, 2011. I am glad my mother called me so I could spend time with her on the 16th. I'll never forget laying there with her, labored breathing, just taking in her smell and petting her poor, weakened body. She was a lover to the last day, though. Sweet puppy, you're home now. We miss you. We love you. We will never forget you.
