ME!!!!!

Pet-Peeves:
Being told to do something (like "go outside") when she's tired. She will roll over on her back and lay there, so I inch her out gently with my foot. Recently she's copped a toothless biting 'tude as well.

Favorite Toy:
She mercilessly chases/stalks my husband's cat. She growls at her BF, Gizmo, but then licks his ears WHILE GROWLING.

Favorite Food:
She has to keep her weight down because she has a broken ACL tendon and 2 luxating patellas (no worries, under great vet care), so only dog food and what Mommy drops on the floor when cooking dinner.

Favorite Walk:
The shopping center where Starbucks is. All3 of my Chihuahuas start to yip, shriek and dance when I say, "Wanna go to STARBUCKS?"

Best Tricks:
Give kissies on command, which are usually up the nose or on the mouth of an unsuspecting visitor who's holding her. Once she put her tiny front feet up on a parked stroller and stole a cookie from an unsuspecting toddler.

Arrival Story:
I spotted her bouncing around the cage at the Manteca, CA animal shelter on 8/29/98, unaware of the fate that befalls many older, crippled doggies (although her luxating patella only "went out" occasionally at that point.) I could tell she was older because her snout was grey. I couldn't believe how HAPPY she was, or how tiny. I"d brought my other Chi, Gizmo to the shelter, to see if they'd get along and they got along famously. Her age became a moot point then.

Bio:
6 years have passed. We've been through so MUCH together. 12/01 she broke her ACL. 1/02 she caught some bug and dropped from 5.5 to 3.8 lb. I was home with a herniated disc in my back and I forced Pedialyte and Nutrical and babyfood down her throat with a ringer several times a day. After 3 weeks she gave me a noselick, her sign she feels good (no noselicks = she's pissed off @ me or she doesn't feel good.) She loves going out in her lil doggie Gerry pack, or tucked in my coat if it's ever cold enough. She has to be at my feet or snuggled next to me in bed after hubby leaves, cuz he's allergic. She has been on Lasix and Analapril for 2 years for Congestive Heart Failure and as you can see from the pic, her lil back legs are all twisted up from the luxating patellas and that broken acl tendon, but like a Timex, she takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'. (vet said she was too old and tiny for any surgery to repair it)
