Arrival Story:
I went to Vegas for the birth of my newest grand-daughter Ava #5 and to attend a Venue hearing at the Federal Courthouse on the Pet Food Recall Class action May 07. This little guy had been found by my older grandchildren several weeks prior, he was very thin. I could not find a chip, and no answer to ad's placed, also no lost ad's placed for him in almost a months time. As my youngest grandson is autistic, and Petey is so small I decided to bring him back with me. ****OWNER'S FOUND and with the amazing help of several rescue groups he will be headed home on June 25th 2007 UPDATE: Petey is coming back to WA. Sept. 24th His owners have decided they don't have the time he needs to be a "good Boy" and have asked me to take him. OF COURSE I SAID "YES!" Much Thanks to www.gingerspetrescue.org and National Pet Rescue for getting this accomplished. Through generous donations and amazing transport efforts he will be home Sept. 24, 2007 Anyone needing animal transport to rescue or FUR-ever homes check out www.operationroger@operationroger. com A caring group of truck drivers, helping to make it happen!

Bio:
He came back to WA. with me on Southwest Airlines. He was great on the airplane. I would have loved to find his owner, I know too well the feeling of loss. ****OWNER'S FOUND and with the amazing help of several rescue groups he will be headed home on June 25th 2007 to be with his family, I will be sad to see him go, yet I am so thankful he has a family that loves and wants him, so many do not! His owner's tell me I can come visit him when I am in town. Three cheer's for Blackie! A true sucess story! UPDATE*** His owner has asked me to take him back, as she is not home much and he was alone too much. MORE SUCESS! He will return to WA. State and his furever home Sept. 24th He's BACK......... And we all now call him Petey-Opus
