Arrival Story:
Daisey was at the Seattle Animal Shelter and through the generosity of the volunteer foster network had managed to steer clear of "the long walk". She was estimated to be 11 or 12 years old. She was deaf, scarred from recent surgery and had managed to chew the hair off of most of her rump because of a flea allergy. Not exactly adoptable material in most people's minds. But I fell in love with her sweet face and adopted her. She was a wonderful dog, full of life and love - she stole my heart and most of the bed real estate at night. I had to say goodbye to her last month after almost 2 years of companionship. Her body was just not keeping up with her beautiful mind and I couldn't let her suffer any longer. I miss you Daisey!

Daisey and I would like to ask you to please consider adoption of adult and senior dogs. Everyone loves a puppy, but, hey, these lovely guys and gals are already potty trained! A lot of them have gotten over that chew the arms of the chair away problem! They just want to love you and be loved. Thanks for visiting our site.
