Arrival Story:
When my parents bought our house, I decided it was time for a dog :) I was 11 years old & 11-year-old girls have a lot of tricks to get theire parents to buy a dog... I wrote a lot of letter where I promised to be the greatest doughter of all, if I only get a dog. My parents finally where persuaded & they started to search for the right breed. They saw an Akita in a book, but nobody thought that there's a breeder in our country. Akitas where very rare at this time. So we where thinking of getting something more common like a Labrador or Dalmatian. But then we really found an add from an Akita breeder in our country. We went to see the pups & of course we have to take one home :)

Bio:
Tamami was the most beautiful puppy in the litter, so her breeders told us to show her & also breed with her. She was our first dog, so it took us some time to learn everything about dog shows & breeding. My parents only showed her 4 times in open class. That's a pitty, because she was a really beautiful Akita. When she got older I began to show her in Veteran Class & now she's Austrian Veteran Champion. Now she's retired. We only had one litter, but it really was a great time. She got 4 very nice pups. 3 boys & one girl. To leran more about our pets, visit our Homepage: http://www.mypets.at.tt On 28th September 2005 Tamami left us at the age of nearly 14. As she was very proud all her life long, she died the same way. She was our first dog and so we where very afraid, that we have to put her to sleep, but she took this hard decision. She died very peacefully, only falling to sleep and never waking up again... Loosing her causes a big whole. She was with me since I was 11. She helped my a lot in my puberty when everything goes crazy. She helped me through lovesikness and fights with my parents and through the bad school years and the first years at university. She was the reason why I fall in love with dogs and espacially with rare breeds and dog showing. So she effected my whole life as a dog breeder, handler and trainer, my biggest hobby, my proffession and my love. And of course she gave birth to my beloved Akemi!
