 Quick Bio:
Likes: Lots of petting! Brushing! Rounding up my friends, or even strangers.

Pet-Peeves: People and dogs I don't know (especially MEN!), loud noises, things that move, things that do not go where I want them to.

Favorite Toy: Toys? Are you kidding me? Toys are for babies. I like to chase squirrels, cats, and anything I can herd up.

Favorite Food: Leftovers! I used to live on them, but my people won't give me hardly any except a bite now and then.

Favorite Walk: Anywhere I can be ALONE, thank you. Don't bug me!

Best Tricks: Uh, tricks? Tricks are for kids. I obey commands...when it suits me!

Arrival Story: I was left on the side of the road in Coker, Alabama. I went up to a house looking for some food and these two nice ladies fed me. I hung around there for a few days and man, they had some good food. One of the ladies started calling me TESS. She kept saying, "She's touched by an angel!" I have no idea what that means.
The ladies and a man kept trying to pet me and I think they wanted to trap me, but I ran away because I was scared they would hit me like the other people who dropped me off. Also I did not like their little yippy dog!
But one day I let them pet me. Then they introduced me to their friends, and I was scared of them too, and didn't let them pet me. Especially the man. I don't care for men, if you must know. I heard the friends talking and they said they would take me to their place. I wasn't too sure about that, but I did hitch a ride to their place because, you know, the food. I hung out in their yard for awhile and decided to stay. They had a nice yard, and a dog named Chestnutt was already living there. I liked her. We used to dig out under the fence and take great adventures around the neighborhood! The people didn't know it, but Chestnutt had a terminal illness and she wanted to squeeze as much adventure into what time she had left as possible. Oh, the trips we took that summer! We would sneak out every day. Even after they put in an electric fence, I would hold up the fence (I didn't mind a shock in the butt if it meant a day of sweet freedom!) and let Chestnutt out and we would spend the day having adventures and then sneak back in before the people came home. Sometimes we couldn't get in and the people next door would let us back in. Our people never knew we left! Ha! We liked going to the student apartments by the pool - everybody loved us over there and gave us FOOD! Then Chestnutt got sick and went to Heaven. A few months later the people "got married" whatever that means, and we moved to a new house. I had the whole place to myself for a few months - until they brought a puppy over to hang out. She ended up staying and I like her pretty well. That's Rosey. I am trying to teach Rosey to bark and chase but she mostly just likes to chew stuff up and lay around. BO-ring!

Bio: I am a graduate of PARA Obedience Training - two courses! I am super smart and super sweet, but I am still not sure about new people. Sometimes when lots of people are around, I have to bark and snarl at them to keep them in line and make sure they know they can't hurt me. I act like I would eat them alive, but I don't really eat people. I just want them to think I do.
