i have a non-discrimination policy. i used to salivate excessively when my previous owners fed me hershey kisses (but dogs should NOT be fed chocolate). i'm also an expert at eating watermelon.

to my food bowl

Best Tricks:
i can grab food out of anything--your hand, other dogs' mouths...

Arrival Story:
i had a rough time as a puppy. i went through two other owners and neither wanted to keep me. i guess, like many beagles, i was pretty hyper and required a very tolerant home. luckily a little girl found out about me through Pets in Need and adopted me. but once i finally found my family i stuck around for 16 years!

Bio:
teddy passed away in april 2004 at the ripe old age of 17. he was stubbornly going about his usual food-seeking ways when he suddenly got ill. he was found to be severely anemic and thrombocytopenic. even a transfusion didn't help him gain his strength or appetite (!) back. the presumptive diagnosis was a liver or splenic hemangiosarcoma. we let him rest after a week of suffering. we all love and miss him but trust that he is eating well in doggy heaven.
