Splish Splash! & Now For Sale!

My Dearest Furry Fellow Friends,

I have the funniest little story for you. The other day momma decided to give us out baths. Of course, once we realized this we ran like crazy and hid. The problem though is that momma is smart and found us right away. Soon after we found ourselves in knee high warm water in the tub. Although it felt good, I still did not want to be there. So I made myself impossible to move around. Moo-ha-ha! Max did the same. Momma just rolled her eyes and ignored our ingenious move. But her mistake! The next thing I heard was a lout sqwak and ker-splash!! Momma fell right into the tub, face first too. Dad also happened to witness it too. Needless to say all of us were laughing hard. Of course, she looked rather perturbed. But hey, what can I say? It was funny!

Like my momma, I LOVE to draw and so we came up with the idea to create some fun and whimsical cards that anyone could use. So be sure to come and 'sniff' then out. Part of the proceeds from the sale will benefit fellow doxie rescue organizations, since I after all...had come from one right here in California. Fishy Wishy

My Dearest Furry Fellow Friends,

Mina here, once again. Yesterday I spent most of the day sleeping, while momma worked. Max also spent most of the day with me sleeping as well. I have offered before to help momma out, such as answering the phone for her. But, she always giggles at me and tells me that very few people could understand my accent. What accent what I say?! She went on to say that our doxie job around here is to look cute, eat, sleep, keep her company, eat some more and look cute.

When it's just right, I'll go to the patio and lay out in the nice warm sun. Ahhh! Love doing this. Gotta get my daily source of vitamin D there, heh heh. Speaking of good stuff for ya, Max and I got an extra delicious treat last night! Momma had cooked some salmon for dinner and decided to give us some extra bits of fish, (mmmm-MM!). It was sooooo gooood! So needless to say that last night, I ended dreaming that Max and I were on top of mountain of fish devouring them all. (Mmmmm...slurp, lick)...Oh! Pardon me there...I'm practically salavating while writing this latest entry. So...here's to fish in all of their glorious taste and here's to momma for slipping us some extra bits of her salmon.

Hello You!

My Dearest Furry Fellow Friends,

Greetings to you. I'm most please to make your aquaintance. Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Willamina Sal Chicha Cevallos. However....you can simply call me Mina Barker or simply Mina. My momma is a bit of an odd ball, even for a human. In naming me she thought it would be cute to name me with some Hispanic flair, while still devoting my first name to honor my German background. Hee hee! Hey, pssssst! Guess what Max's name is? It's, Maxamillion Chorizo Cevallos. Ha!

I'm a cute little dapple doxie who was along my husband (Max), was adopted into a grrrrrreat forever home by my new momma and daddy two and half years ago. What's best is that since my momma works from her own home design studio, we get to be with her all day! We take walks, play with my favorite throw toys and sometimes she will even take me to the post office with her and when does I just love to hang out of the car window and pretend I'm flying. Usually Max tries to do the same, but I'll push him away so that he won't try and hog all of window space up. Sigh. Boys can so uncivilized!

So here I am writing. Never thought that I would get to write again. But it's so fun! And thanks to my momma for creating this account for me, I get to now bark about. So stay tuned and I will be writing again very soon and will be sure to give you the latest and greatest updates on my little weiner life. Oh yeah...and on Max's too. (tee hee!).
