So Sad

Dear diary, my heart is heavy as I write this. On Monday, December 10, our sister Choo Choo lost her battle with kidney disease. She fought her disease for the 2 years she lived with us but it was only in the past few weeks that she became really sick. It was hard for our family to say goodbye but as Mom said, the time had come to give her back to the angels. Diary, the good news is that I did not have to go through her passing alone. Our dear Dogster pals have been with us every step of the way. Without them, it would have been too much to bear. Ok, I feel better after writing this. Thanks, Diary for letting me cry on your shoulder.

I have been Christmas Tagged!!

My good pal Zeke Christmas tagged me! Zeke and his pack are great pals of mine who live in beautiful England. Here are the rules:

Dear Santa Paws,
I have been a VERY good boy this year! I have given my mom undying love, affection and loyalty. I always have a smile on my face, ready to jump to attention whenever duty calls. There is one little thing you probably already know about - I will try to be better about the barking next year. It is soooo hard to be quiet! I think it is a Pom thing. Here is my list of Christmas wishes.

1. My first Christmas wish is that my sister Choo Choo will hang in there as long as she can,
2. I wish that all dogs could have loving forever homes,
3. I wish all of my wonderful Dogster pals and their families a merry Christmas (or happy Hannukah or everhow you celebrate) and a new year filled with peace and happiness,

OK that is all the unselfish stuff I can think of. Mom told me that to be good I should always think of others first. The last two are all about ME!!

4. I want lots of Greenies! Mom says they are good for my teeth, but man, they are the best tastin' things I have ever had.

5. I want to visit my girlfriend and Princess, Foxy. Mom says Texas is a loooong way - can you and Rudolph take me there on your sleigh? I don't weigh much - you will never know I am aboard!
