I Won the Best Trick Contest!!

Yep, at the Nashville Dog Festival! We were against 7 other contestants. I did weave, turn, shake, and speak.

After 5 minutes of judging, the announcer goes

"3rd place...so-in-so....2nd place...someone...and we have to give 1st place this year to Jacks--"

mom: "YES!!!"


bol. we got a blue ribbon and a $25 gift cart to some pet store.


Mom feels so accomplished now because in April, I got 2nd place at the Dog Daze of Hendersonville...

I'm a genius!!

Ok, so the whole "I'm a genius" thing is nothing new, but I actually know "go get mommy" and "go get grandpa" and "get your ball"(probably my favorite)

Mom has no idea how I learned the mommy and grandpa thing...

Fun Match

Hm...mom just doesn't know whether or not to show me in the fun match on August 8. I'm better with strangers...but it really depends on the person. And I am good with dogs-I really am-but I sometimes bark at them.
Mom just hopes I don't cause any grief for the other handlers and whatnot!
Mom's been stacking me at home, and I do really well,but what will happen actually being AROUND people??
Soooo mom's gonna stack me at a pet store and a park, and anywhere else there are people!

There's Still Hope For Me

Ok, so mom brough me with her and her mom to pick up 3 of her friends that were going to go see a movie. So, when we got to friend 2 and 3's house, she got me out of the truck because mom's mom and her friend's mom were meeting and talking. So, one of the girls went to let me sniff her hand and usually I do and then all the sudden bark and scare the person to death, but I just sniffed and she actually got to pet me! There were 5 people pretty close to me and I put up no fuss at all!!

I'm now a year old!

I turned a year old on April 23!! It amazes mom how much I've grown and matured.And it amazes people how big I am for my age! Mom is so proud of me! She took pics and made a cake...

She has many plans for me...and thinks I am just the best dog ever.She couldn't ask for a better dog!

It Snowed!!

I finally got my first snow experience!It was so fun.Mom's dad said it made me look so natural...kind of like a wolf!It was so fun!I loved diving in it and frolicing in it.mom would make a snowball and throw it at me, and sometimes I would catch it.

Getting closer to the big 1!!!

Mom is so proud.It's January 23,2008--I'm nine months old today!!!It's just another milemarker on this journey called life.

My First Christmas!

Mom told me it's almost Christmas!I had no idea what this meant,so mom explained it to me.She said that some fat dog comes down the chiney named "Santa Paws" and leaves each good little girl and boy dog around the world a present!I liked this so far,but it only got better!She said that he does it while you're sleeping cause he likes to stay unnoticed or something(must be one of those aloof breeds.)She said after presents have been opened we eat a huge holiday meal with turkey,ham,potatoes,cranberries,and all this other stuff!Then she told me I couldn't have that stuff(maybe a few bites she couls sneak me),so,that was a little disappointing.Then she said we would listen to music and take some pictures and all would be good.I am SO excited it's only in a few short hours.
