Likes:
Starr is a very loving dog who likes to sit and watch TV on her couch. She often runs off her family to be able to do so. She's also been known to watch the cats.

Pet-Peeves:
Agressive people. She's training to be a personal protection dog so does not like anyone messing with her family.

Favorite Toy:
Rope Tug, Tire Tug, and Treats

Favorite Food:
Anything with chicken.

Favorite Walk:
Cool Parks.

Best Tricks:
Sit, Stand, Stay, and Long stays. Bitework starts soon

Arrival Story:
We received Starr from a very loving trainer Alecia who is associated with Bob Smith in Lakewood Washington (bobsk9.com). Alecia rescued her from a couple who could not handle her due to the wifes pregnancy. Raised with Alecia's Belgian Malinois, she's become very attentive and enthusiastic about her training. Alecia has done a wonderful job in socializing, training and making sure that Starr is at the top of her game. We where worried at first that Starr would be too young for our family of 4, but we have learned to love our little bundle of energy.

Bio:
BLOG: June 3rd 2007 Alecia was running a bit tardy today for our session with Bob because one of her pups from her newest litter of Belgians got sick. So instead of the planned bite-work, we worked with Bob, Alecia, Marcel, and a few other people from the Washington area. It was quite informative and everyone within the household is becoming more easy with handling Starr.

Rain rain go away...

June 26th 2007 1:32 pm   [link to this entry]

We went to the field Sunday to do some work where we found no one there. We missed last week unfortunately due to me being sick, but we had lots of fun. We're progressing nicely in socialization, but now Starr's becoming more people and dog aggressive. Not sure what's going on since I'm not the expert on dog behavior.

Around 3'ish people started showing up, and by 3:20 the rain started pouring down. We where all drenched in less than 4 minutes so training was called on account of rain.
