Arrival Story:
Chuy's litter was rescued at 5 weeks of age when a neighbor of ours found out they were starving. The mother could not nurse the puppies and the owners would not feed them. Out of a litter of 13 puppies 5 had already died and 2 had been rescued, leaving 6 that needed to have homes to live. My husband and son went to see the puppies and Chuy came to them so they decided to rescue him. Chuy came to live with us and our aging and ill German Shepard - Freida. He helped to make her last days happy and she did her best to teach him how to be a good dog.
