Pet-Peeves: Waking up, Mommy's Scarey stuffed Santa Claus she puts out at Christmas, thunder and fireworks send me under the bed
Favorite Toy: Red Plastic Squeek Bone and any toy my brothers aren't playing with
Favorite Food: Nutro Natural Choice and anything peanut butter
Favorite Walk: Away from the house
Best Tricks: Sitting up on hind legs and begging and barking, crawling across the floor on his belly
Arrival Story: I got a call that a yellow Lab was running around as a stray. He looked like a lab fox mix but as time went on we could see the muscles and jaws of a pit. I brought him home and we waited for any calls looking for him. No one ever called so after 2 weeks we took him to the vet and he has been here ever since. He was extremely timid and skinny. He has come out of his shell a lot just by being with his other brothers. He is the "do his own thing" kind of dog. We wakes only when he wants to, plays only when he wants to and eats when he feels like it. When we are outside playing ball with his brothers, he runs after a toy we're not even throwing. He is happy just doing his own thing and that is ok with us. Buddy is the oldest of 4.
Bio: My name is Buddy and I am ANTI BSL. Mommy and Daddy tells me I could loose my life because I am a pitbull. I asked my Mommy why since I never hurt anybody. Mommy promised me that she would hurt anyone or anything that tried to take me away. I believe her. Mommy says that I have come a long way since I came home. I used to run away from everyone except Mommy, Daddy and Grandmom. Now I like having people over. Especially the people Mommy and Daddy knows. They always bring me treats and scratch my back. I am still terrified of fireworks and thunder. Mommy just lets me go under the bed until it's over and then I will come out. Mommy told me today that I am really starting to show my age. I have a lot of gray hair now but still love to run around the yard with my brothers.
Mommy and Daddy took me to the Dr cause I have a lump behind my shoulder blade. The Dr stuck 3 needles in it and squeezed it on glass. He said he couldn't see anything but Mommy and Daddy needed to keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get bigger.
Daddy found a lump behiond my shoulder yesterday and made a Dr Appointment for me. I heard him say I hope it's not cancer in my gland. If it is I know my Mommy and Daddy will do everything they can for me. Mommy promised she would leave work to be with any one of us that may become seriously ill. I am their first dog ever so, I know they will get me through it.
