She likes to hug and be hugged. She likes to play in the back yard. She took her bed out of her doghouse and she drags the bed around!

Pet-Peeves:
When the cats hiss at her, but she never growls or bites.

Favorite Toy:
She likes Gimli's "Camo Monkey" (see Gimli's video). Her play stuffed rabbit and fox.

Favorite Food:
Solid Gold Wolf King

Favorite Walk:
She likes to walk to the neighborhood park a few streets away.

Best Tricks:
She can fetch

Arrival Story:
She was adopted from the Euless Animal Shelter on June 2, 2007. She was found as a stray with no collar or tag and she just became available on the day before on the 1st. We were driving down the road and decided to go to the shelter because we were thinking about getting a puppy and we just moved into a house in April. We got to the shelter just ten minutes before they closed for the day! She doesn't bother the cats, but sometimes a few of the cats hiss at her (Tabi, Kahlan and Nigel). She really likes to try to play with Nigel and Gimli, especially Gimli. Gimli is so mellow (he's a Manx mix), he doesn't hiss, growl, or bite. Charlie chases her around the back yard when she gets too close! Some friends of mine on Catster said she looked like a Flat-coated Retriever, which we had never heard of. Her paper at the shelter said Labrador Retriever mix, but looking at pictures and books, she sure does look like a flat-coat!

I met a new furiend yesterday!

I met a new doggy furiend yesterday! Her name is Sadie. Mom and dad walked me to the little park a few blocks from our house. I got to run around the park and I even slid down one of the kiddy slides! On the way back, there were three big humans and a little human with a black doggy like me in a front yard. One of the male humans called to mom and dad and asked if I played well with other dogs. Dad said that I sure did! Sadie is just a little taller than I am and she is short-haired. She is part lab and part greyhound. Sadie and I ran around the yard a lot. We'd sit down for a bit then we'd play some more! The nice humans gave me some water too. One of the humans said I was very-well behaved for a young doggy. Mom and dad told them about how I was adopted from the shelter. Sadie was adopted from the shelter too. One of the big humans said that we shelter dogs are very grateful for our humans rescuing us, I guess because some of us may have seen some really bad situations and now we are in good situations. I know I sure am lucky and grateful!

I sure did have fun! I hope to see Sadie again soon!

My First Visit to the Dog Park!

Hi everydoggy! Mom and dad took me to the dog park for the first time on Sunday! I met lots of cool doggy friends. I got to run around and some doggies chased after me! I met two cool new humans. They were sitting on a big rock. Boy, did I like that rock. I kept jumping up and sitting by them. There were small dogs, medium-sized dogs and big dogs! I even met a dog named Charlie that looked like me! He was adopted from the Hurst shelter and he was about my age. He could have been a long-lost brother of mine!
I can't wait to go to the dog park again. Mom and dad said they are going to take me again sometime this week!

Woofs,
Trinity
