Open letter to Dogster from our mama...

BOY OH BOY IS SHE MAD! She sent this message to them and thought ya'll like to read it.

To: Dogster HQ

I, along with other people, are extremely upset with all the stuff you keep adding AND taking away from us. The new change, letting us know when our pals make any time of comment to anything on anypup's page, is totally stupid. We're notified already when they make a comment to a photo or diary entry that we have commented on. We don't need to know when they take a breath or go out for a potty break! OH MY GOD! Seriously!!

Then you took away our instant messaging so now we can't talk to our pals all over the world, that we made THROUGH Dogster. I still don't understand the reasoning or logic of that one.

And then, we're not getting ANY zealies for voting in the photo contest like we have every since the contest started 6 years ago!!

I'm 53 years old, I'm not a kid, and don't feel we need to be subjected to the constant changes you THINK are good for the website or us. Its beginning to be too much like Facebook. If I wanted to know everything everyone is doing, I'd go over there.

I know you're saying that if you don't like it, leave. Unfortunately, I think I'm going to have to. For $19.95 a year, its not worth all the constant changes you are forcing us to accept without our input before the changes are made.

Our good friend Sophie crossed the Rainbow Bridge yesterday very unexpectedly. She hadn't been eating and wasn't acting like herself so her pawrents took her to the vet last Friday. They ran a bunch of tests on her and found out she had a neurlogical disease. Her pawrents didn't want her to suffer or be in pain so they helped her cross the bridge yesterday.

Fly Free Sophie, Fly Free.

It happens every time we get out and them come back into Dogster. There's nothing showing what makes the Yar, so we don't know where it is to avoid it. ????

A $4.4 Million Hotel for Pets

Later this month, Fort Worth, Texas, will have a new place where pampered dogs and cats will be able to lounge in the lap of luxury. At Spa Paws Hotel, owners can pay as much as $200 a night so their pets can sleep with chenille and satin blankets while watching 18-inch flat-screen TVs. The most expensive suites overlook an atrium that includes robotic squirrels. But the 20,00-square-foot complex isn't just for fun and games. It will also include a wellness center, where dogs and cats "can heal their bodies and minds via Eastern medicine," reports the Wall Street Journal. The hotel is the latest example of the growing interest in providing luxury pet services. "In this industry, nothing is really too outrageous anymore," one insider said.
