IT'S ALL ABOUT ME!!!

Hi Everyone...Now please don't take this the wrong way...we're not telling anybody what to do, we want to tell you what we learned. On our pages (that we all like to change according to seasons or holidays) we now have codes to make our navigation buttons different colors. Most, if not all of us are familiar with changing our buttons to match our background. The "community" button has a few color choices, but not as many as the other button codes. When you get a coordinating color to match your page for the community button, the code for it HAS to go in the "edit profile box" first. (for whatever reason, it won't work if the other code is first). Then the navigational buttons code can go in the same box, right after the first code. (Mom likes to play around and is ALWAYS changing our pages and now has taken it upon herself to change some of the backgrounds in our groups. That's how she found out that the community button code has to go first and that you can put more than one code in the boxes. She also found out you can put the codes for items like your background, custom cursor, falling objects, etc. (stuff that doesn't show up on the page) in the same box as say, the navigational/community button, thus freeing up a box to put another item on your page.)
Yu gurlses an' guy r SO smart on dis 'puter-fing! Fanks fur helpin' all ob us ♥ Aww, thanks Z-pup. We really didn't do anything special. I like it when people help us. (And believe me mom can use all the help she can get on some things.) BOL The Comm button actually doesnt have to go under the Button bar colour.. certainly my pages are never coded that way.. nor any of the many I do are either, or many that others do. I do over 40 pages at times.. and group pages also... But.... if it works for you that way thats great. Also yes... you can have as many codes in one box as you want.. as long as you make a couple of line spaces in between so you dont mix codes. It doesnt matter if you have css and widget codes in the same box .... just dont string them altogether without a line space between different codes. Widget codes have to have their height added to the Height box as you know. CSS needs NO height added. Exactly as Doo's Mum says.. its all a learning curve. We all start somewhere. Three years ago I had never seen let alone coded css. If we can do it.. so can anyone ! Just takes patience and practice. ALWAYS work on a copy. ALWAYS save good working codes.!!! Also.. you dont need to have PLUS to be able to decorate your pages and have widgets on the right side. Most of what you see on my pages was in one standard box before I got plus. As long as you seperate codes.. and attend to the Height box... you can have that single box height number in the 1000's . Thanks Doo's Mum ... I spend alot of time trying to encourage folk.. and its great that Doo's Mum is doing the same. HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS WOW! I wondered how you and others got so many things on the right hand side. I tried, but it didn't work. Now I know to put some blank lines in between. Now I can have a bajillion things on the dog's pages! LOL Thanks Pam!! HUGSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS Please dear Lady do NOT think i was poking at you.. i was doing the opposite !! I was so pleased to see someone encouraging ! I have just checked your source code .. you have an incorrect code for the tab.. you are a slash missing at the end of the Comm tab... and that will make all the difference. Will pmail you with it. HUGSSSSSSSSSSS Mommy says that if you go to your page, and look for the place that says "Update your page", click on select task, and then click on add diary entry, you can write a diary. Now you know why my page is never "special". Mommy just discovered how to get to the home page last week. I must be dealing with one of the dumbest humans in existence. The things we dogs have to deal with. LOL you all are so computer smart! We Cattle Dogs are Cattle smart and never care about the colour of the buttons. We should though! Thanks for sharing, we will give it a shot :o) Woofs, Jojo and sonja Thanks for educating us that aren't all that smart - especially my Mom! ~Anya After this the young lady upset the frying pan and went forth by a knowledge of trench warfare methods.
