My first walk. EVER!!April 6th 2010 2:33 pm[ View A Comments (12) ] Just a few minutes ago, mom and I got back from my first walk ever!! At least with mom it was. Mom decided to take me for a walk since I like to go outside with her when she checks mail and when she takes the garbage cans to the street. Today, I sat on the drive way and was watching some people a few houses down from us. I was wagging my tail and mom's always saying how good I am when I go out with her because I never try to run away. So she found Doo's collar and leash and decided we'd take a walk. She was just going to walk me down the paved alleyway to the end of the block but when she saw how good I was doing, we decided to walk around the whole block. It was SO exciting and I was sniffing and grinning the whole time. (I didn't pee on every single thing I saw or found, I only did it once.) I didn't pull on the leash or try to run away or slip my collar either. I was such a good boy!! (I even got over the fact that I was wearing a pink collar and had a pink leash!! BOL) I sure hope we go again tomorrow. She might take me and then Doo until we get used to going for walks and then she might get one of those leashes that hooks on 2 collars at once and then she can take us both at the same time. It'll do all of us some good, being in the fresh air and getting some exercise!! Now I know how excited everyone is when their mom's or dad's take them for a walk!! I LOVE IT!!! Thanks mom!! I can't wait til we go again!!

Austin you should go to the Fiesta Pooch Parade this this year with mommy & me. It's coming up soon. Rinky used to go but she's old now & can't walk the 3 mile parade route (maybe if Mommy can find a stroller to put Rinky in she'd be able to go.) You are such a good boy for not pulling and yanking on your momma's arm! :o) I wish I could walk as nicely as you do! YAY!!!! I love walks! They are so fun! You are much better than I am. I pee everywhere! I'm still trying to figure out how to walk with one leg hiked in the air and the whizzer going the whole way.... That's great! Walks are the best - I love them so much! I was in "seclusion" for several month. The first real walk after this recovery time felt so wonderful..
