Gotcha Date: September 16th 2006 Birthday: March 25th 2005 Likes: Sleeping on the couch, playing tug of war or wrasslin' with my sister Doodle, shredding up kleenex/napkins, rawhides, special doggy treats, jumping on my grandmom's bed when she visits and rolling all over her pillows!! Pet-Peeves: Mama pestering me trying to give me kisses; trying to be held; having mom come at me to clean my ears...I HATE THAT!! and I hate Hot weather too... Favorite Toy: all my stuffys, anything Doodle has, hard rubber toys I can't tear up Favorite Food: Purina Pro Plan Favorite Walk: Around the back yard and in the house. Best Tricks: I can pee on command; I can go to bed when mama says "Go lay down"; I know exactly where to stand in the kitchen and how to look cute (ok, cuter than normal) to make mama give me treats. (It works EVERY time) ;o) Arrival Story: My mama got me from North American Shar Pei Rescue. She had a Shar Pei before, and just loved his personality, she thought my Weimaraner sister, Doodle needed another playmate, so she adopted me for her. I love my mama and pestering my sister. Bio: I came from a foster home in Galveston, TX. The mean people who first had me kept me in a place with no lights or windows. Needless to say, I was very skittish at first, but over the past 2 years I'm warming up to people. I HATE summers in Texas..they're too hot for me...I love being in the air conditioning and under the ceiling fan. Mom says I'm a couch potato--whatever that is??!! Mom was just realizing that we forgot to thank everybody for all the pressies and well wishes everybody sent me for my Gotcha Day last month. I am so sorry! (Mom gets busy on the puter and forgets everything...good thing our internal clocks are always working or else she'd forget to feed us! BOL)
But I wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my little Shar Pei heart for thinking of me. I can't beleive I've been with mom and Miss Doo for 5 years already!! Time sure does fly. :o)
So mom gets up real early (between 4 and 5 every morning) and logs onto Dogster while Doo and I are eating breakfast. (Most people aren't up playing on Dogster at that unheard of hour.) BOL So then she sometimes goes back to bed, which she did today, and then when she got on the computer a bit ago, she noticed a bunch of pressie notification messages for me. She didn't think anything about it but was wondering what R goin' on (Zaidie talk). So she clicked on one of the pressies and saw that they were congratulating me on my Gotcha Day! Well mom had plum forgot about that! (Gosh, talk about treating me like the red-headed step child! BOL) Mom said she was sorry and gave me lots of treats and hugs and kisses (which she could have kept the hugs and kisses and doubled up on the treats in my opinion!) for my special day! Thanks mom, I forgive you!
Mom made me a pirate picture the other day and immediately deleted it when she saw that it said "Become a Pirate". (She said that looked stoopid and she didn't even notice it when she was making the picture. She was just so excited that it looked kinda decent with the eyepatch and hat.) Well, then we noticed whenever we log on that the Pirate picture of me comes up over on the left hand side of the page, welcoming us to Dogster for the day (ya'll know which one I mean). WELL...thing is, that picture isn't even in my Dogster Plus photo book. At all. Anywhere! Mom deleted it! How is that possible that its showing up? Hmmm, that's strange. Don't know if anyone has left comments, since the picture isn't there, we're not getting any notifications. BOL Another mystery from HQ, I guess.
