A Day In the Life of Annie....

Happy Birthday To Me!

Today is my Birthday and I'm 1 year old! I had a birthday party.
My friends Sophie (Shih Tzu) and Caramel (Shih Tzu/Bichon) came to my house for the party. We had a blast! We played ring around the dining room table (that's a game we play - I run and Sophie and Caramel try to catch me).
So Fun!! I wore a pretty pink dress, but it got torn in the game - which was fine with me because I didn't particularly care for the itchy thing anyway!
(The dress was Mom's idea) She said I should try to act like a lady when I wear such a pretty dress :(
We had our pictures taken (waaaay too many times) and Mom even baked a cake with a dog biscuit on top ~ yummy!! Mom helped me open my gifts ~ more toys!! I love toys! Mom and Dad gave me a new pink sweater.
I think I'm going to like this Birthday thing~

Puppy kisses for the elderly!

I had so much fun on Sunday! Our hometown kennel club arranges visits to nursing homes each year and I got to go too! I had soooo many puppy kisses to give and soooo little time. You can see by the photo Mom added that I was very eager to meet new friends. Mom made me wear a silly Santa hat (which I kept trying to flick off my head) I must have looked pretty funny as everyone sure laughed. I didn't even tinkle on anyone, which made Mom REALLY happy! I can't wait till next weekend, as we are going to more homes and I am saving up the puppy kisses!

I Did It!

Woof! Woof! I made it! I am a graduate now!
Tonight at Obedience school I did everything Mom asked and I graduated Basic Obedience Class! It was fun...we got caps and diplomas and treats too! But Mom would not stop kissing me, oh well I guess she must be proud of me.
Mom says we are not finished yet though. She wants to train me to show me in AKC Obedience trials. I am not so sure about all that....;)
