Arrival Story:
We were initially foster parents for Flurry. She was our first experience with a Samoyed and after 2 weeks of her sweetness and smile we knew we would have her forever. She joined right in as part of the family, but really bonded to her dad. She's definitely a daddy's girl. Flurry is the most gentle, tolerant and food driven dog I've seen. :) She's super sly and has broken into the treat cabinet to self-treat on several occasions. She's also learned how to open the drawer upstairs in the bedroom where we keep the treats. All the while looking completely innocent and blaming her brothers for the trouble.

Flurry went on to meet her furbrother Mufasa on Monday, November 20, 2006. After a couple of close calls, she finally let go to move onto the rainbow bridge. She'd been battling seizures and old age for awhile now, but it finally won. We all will miss our very sweet sweet girl, Flurry ---------------------------------- ---------------------------------- ------------------- Flurry is our alpha dog. She doesn't have time to be bothered by her brothers, but would always worry if they weren't there and should be. The nights Mufasa had to stay over for his surgeries she was very concerned and wanted to make sure he was okay when he returned home. A very nuturing little old lady :) She's got a smile that could melt anyones' heart. Our only wish with Flurry is that we could have gotten her when she was a puppy. We can only imagine how marshmellowy cute she was back then! Flur Flur is also Dave and I's first dog together so she's extra special to us!

phew! I'm exhausted! We just got back from Haiku House on Sunday and it was such great fun! Except for those pesky floors upstairs being slippery I had the best time hanging out with:

Mom and Dad with Copper and Carson

Dave and Steph, with Tasha

Andrew with Ridley

It's the best fun for doggies!

Then last night we went to the dog park which I love ~

off to snack ..

P.S.. i got in trouble again last night for breaking into the treat cabinet and opening a brand new package of Greenies..then distributing them to Carson and Copper as well... Mom and Dad just don't understand how much i LOVE greenies!! And when I'm hungry I'm hungry..

I'm trying to get more rest and save all of my energy for when we go to Haiku next weekend. I love to go on tours around the pond and hang out with my other old lady friend Praire. Her and I are super good buds..those youngster learn to leave us alone. I'm so excited to go to Haiku and hang out with all of our friends: Rudy, Teagray, Praire Dog, Tasha (well she doesnt' like me but we still have to be there together), Ridley, and of course Carson and Copper.

I'm really going to miss Mufasa being there this time. He loved to swim in the water and I thought he was just the most bravest dog ever! I hate the water and won't go anywhere near it, unless i need a drink. I mean..a girl has to get a drink of water from somewhere!

ta ta for now...

Mom and Dad brought home a new little dog today. She seems nice enough and plays with Carson. They both seem to be leaving me alone now which is exactly what I wanted. oh..and she doesn't try to steal my chewies.

Mom and Dad said her name is Copper. She's alright I guess..
