Arrival Story:
One of my friends from high school had a litter of 7 little beagle puppies. His parents wanted to get rid of them and the parents. Their plans were to take all 9 dogs to the pound, but I put a stop to that! I knew I probably couldn't find a home for the parents, but I took all 7 puppies home with me! I found homes for all the little ones and kept my Lady for myself!
Bio:
My little Lady is a sweetheart! She loves all other dogs! She is a people dog too. She loves to be petted and play fetch. She is getting up there in age and has a bad limp to her leg, so she doesn't get to run and play as much as she used too. She was hit by a car when she was younger and the vet told me that it was just a pinched nerve and that she would probably limp for the rest of her life. The nerving part for me was the fact that my neighbor is the one who hit her and would not admit it to me, even though I saw it happen!!! Needless to say, Lady and I don't speak to that neighbor anymore! Lady has a wonderful and friendly personality. She would probably even be friendly to that mean old neighbor if she saw her! Dogs are so loving and forgiving!!! She is and always will be my little Lady! We all love her very much!!!

I was so happy to see grandmaw's car pull in the driveway yesterday! My human family is home finally! It seemed like they were gone forever!
Since Bogie and I don't get along very well, mommy still made sure to come up to my pen and visit me! She brought me up big hands full of treats! I wish that me and Bogie could get along better so we could all play together! But either way, I still get spoiled too! Mommy's friend came over to the house with her 2 little girls to go swimming while Mommy was gone, and I got special treatment while they were there! They let me out of the pen to run and play with them! Thank you D! BOL! for D!!! And thanks to Mr. P for feeding me too! BOL!
It's great to have my Mommy and human family home! Welcome back!

We can all tell something is going on here in the past couple days! We haven't been getting our usual can food at night. It turns out that mommy and her human family are getting ready to go on vacation. Mommy told us that we need to get used to just having dry food because that's all we will get while they are gone. :( She told us that our wonderful neighbor will be coming down to feed us in the mornings and evenings and give us treats too! We love Mr. P very much and will be happy to see him! The only bad thing is that he will not be letting us out to run and play. At least we have plenty of room to run around in our pen. BOL! We are a spoiled bunch of outside babies! He has one dog, but probably wouldn't be able to keep track of us running around and playing. Grandpaw built us outside feed boxes and is going to put our water buckets outside of our sleeping quarters too, so Mr. P doesn't have to open our pen at all. We are going to miss our human family so much and can't wait for them to get back home safe and sound!!!

My weekend was pretty good! I don't really get to get out much with the other doggies because Bogie Sue likes to have an attitude problem with me! I get along great with all the boys and Baby Girl. I lived with mommy before Bogie and when she moved in, we got along at first but then she started the whole dominance thing. I may be a lot smaller than her but I don't take anyone's crap, so I stood up for myself and she didn't care for that. I love getting to play with everyone though! Most of the time when I get out, mommy leaves Bogie in the pen because she is so cranky with me! I got to get out this weekend and run and play so it was lots of fun!
