Well hello to all my Pet Pals. I haven't barked here in a long, long time! A lot has happened since my last entry in my diary. I got pretty sick and Momma treated me with different medications for a skin problem. I guess age and illness were just too much for me though. I managed to get through Christmas and the New Year but I started to go down hill. One day I started acting very strangly....Momma called it seizures. We went to the Vet, but I just did not make it. Everybody was sad to see me go, but I got to the Bridge and I was healthy and could play with no skin or health problems at all! I am very happy up here and I found my brother Benji the Keeshond and he was actually glad to see me! We are a lot nicer to each other at the Bridge than we were at home. I know Momma....I can just hear you now saying, "It figures!" BOL! We will be looking down on you home pets from time to time, but for now we have a game of Frisby going and I have to get back to the Pets here. Bye for now, and I love you all!

Hey, Sam, here! I am sweltering in this heat. Momma turned off the A.C. and turned on the attic fan and opened up the windows to bring in some fresh (but hot) air. The breeze really does feel good, but the A.C. is much nicer. We Pets have been playing outside for a while today, already, but came back in for a rest. We will get to take our walks later this evening when the sun goes down. There isn't much going on around here today, so I guess that is about it for now.

Since this is my first entry, I will talk a little about how I got to my home. It all started in January a few years ago on an icy, sleeting, night. I was lost, or dumped off by my former owners, I can't remember the details cause I was a baby of eight months old. I found a house in the country and the people there fed me but they had a big dog already in their house who didn't like me, so I could not go inside. Then the storm came. I cried and barked and the people felt bad about me being out in the freezing rain so they called their momma and poppa and told them about poor little me. The next thing I knew a car pulled into the driveway and this wonderful lady called Momma got out of the car and took me back to the car with her. She had a warm blanket and wrapped me up in it and we both got into the back seat of the car and this person called Momma held me all the way to this other house, while a man named Poppa drove the car. When we arrived Momma told me that this was my new home forever and I would be safe and happy here, plus there were playmates already living there for me. A new sis named Keesie and one named Sophie, and a bro named Benji, who is no longer with us now, but is over the Rainbow Bridge. I was overwhelmed with happiness at my good luck and explored every nook and cranny in the new home immediately. I ate and then I found the couch. What a glorious piece of furniture a couch is! I curled up on it and fell asleep, dreaming happy dreams about my new family. Well, that is all there is about my first day of my new life. I will come back another day and tell more great stories about me!
