Arrival Story:
I lost my dear mom in May 2003 and my girls and I needed something to love so we decided to get a Tiny Toy Poodle. My daughter and I found the breeder in the newspaper and off we went to look at her! We told my husband we were just going to "look" but I took deposit money with me!! We fell in love with her and put down a deposit. The breeder gave us a nursery list and once we obtained those items, we went back two days later and picked her up. She has been a complete joy to us. She travels everywhere with us.
Bio:
Edy Madison is a sweet, kind, companion. She never barks at people and loves small children. I took the first two initials of my mom's name and added a "y" and that is how we came up with the name of Edy. I feel like my Mom sent her to me from heaven because Edy loves me so much and is my little shadow. She loves to travel with me and when I visit certain small gift shops, the owners take her from me and give her treats!! She is prissy and loves to wear clothes and go to the doggie bakery and get "doggie cookies and eclairs!" Edy has a doggie stroller and loves to go shopping. Edy is a trained therapy dog and we visit local nursing homes. Edy brings a lot of joy to the elderly patients. She loves to visit and can't wait to get in the door when we arrive.

Well, I am 7 years old today!!
The best birthday present was when my mom got home right before my birthday! She left me for 7 days and went on a business trip with my Daddy. Boy did I miss her. I stayed with my big sister and she tried so hard to take care of me but I MISSED my mom. I would not sleep with her on mom's bed. I stayed in the family room watching the door all night incase my mom decided to come home. I would not eat my food or treats. My sister did fix me chicken and I did eat some of chicken!! I would not potty at first but quickly realized I would have to give in on that one!!
Well, mom came home and I kissed and kissed her. I had a little party with mom and dad and they gave me a new dress, a fancy cookie, and fixed me some boiled chicken. Yum, Yum!! I also slept beside mom all night!!
She usually takes me with her but dumb Delta airlines doubled the fare for pets and my ticket was going to be more than mom's ticket. Dad said I could not go then!! My mom was not happy but maybe I will get to go next time!
I am hope I have another great, healthy year.

I am trying to survive the heat! My mom goes out and waters her plants in the morning and I want to go with her. By the time she finishes, I am SO hot! Also, there are three hawks that fly over our house and mom is so afraid they are going to swoop down and get me. I have to say they are pretty big birds. I love the little girl that lives across the street from us. She loves to come play with me and dress me up in my clothes. She is so gentle with me and my favorite little playmate. I'm not really fond of other dogs. I just tend to ignore them! I really like sweet little children!

Today is my birthday! My mom can't believe that I am six years old! I can't either! I still think I am a puppy and other people think I am a puppy too. I am having a little party tonight and my mom usually fixes me chicken! I hope she does because I love chicken. I also think I am getting a special dessert and some pegetables! I know they will take pictures! One of my sisters is home but the other one is at college and I miss her so much. It's just not the same when she is not here. I also like her boyfriend, Kenny! He plays ball with me all the time and I miss him too!
