New friends

I am so excited about my new pals I have made here. I hope I can keep up and do all I am supposed to do.

Friends are so cool. Me and Becky enjoy having people over, but we do spend a lot of time just the two of us, which is cool too. She just broke up with that man she called a "boyfriend," so we are hanging out, watching movies and all.

She had to go to the hospital again---something is been bugging her, so she has problems in her chest and throat. She can't burp. I tried to lick her problems away the other day, but it didn't seem to help. Maybe it will now. Can a dog pray for their companion.

So, is there anyone close by here? Ireally could use a playmate.

Memorial Day Reflections

What a strange year it has been for me and Becky! This time last year, we were just back in our apartment after living with Becky's mom and dad for six weeks. Becky had this big sickness called Cancer and had to have surgery, so we stayed there. It was kind of funny, just hanging out and being together. We played, we laughed, we read, we soaked up the sun and just enjoyed being there.

We moved to an apartment with stairs, and we help people who are in crisis. Becky works with kids in a church. Boy, kids are everywhere. They always want to touch all over me. I don't mind it too much.

Except when they touch my tail.

I went on my first road trip Friday. I went to South Carolina and came straight back. What dog can say they peed in two states with in a few hours? It was an interesting ride.

Well, it is time for my nap.
