Arrival Story:
Bert is my parent's dog and actually lives in Oregon, Ohio (dad's not quite the internet nerd/animal geek that his daughter is) -- he came from a breeder as a wee little puppy.

Bio:
Bert is the sweetest german shepherd unless you're an "unknown". He is definitely a great watchdog -- taking especially good care of the grandkids. Bert sleeps right next to Mom & Dad's bed and gets up several times a night to patrol the house, waking Dad up every single time, of course (he's gotta circle around his spot on the floor many times, hitting the side of the bed every time). He's a momma's boy and loves having his pals, Yzerman and Hunter, come over to his yard. Bert's a gracious host but always lets them know who's boss. March 4th, 2008. Bert has made his way across the Bridge today. He made it known to Mom that it was time to let him go and help him find his way there. He was loved more than he'll ever know and will missed more than we can even comprehend. We love you big Bertie and always will.
