Woof! I'm so excited! I'm 2 today! My mom says that now that I'm 2 I'm no longer a puppy - I'm a real dog! Maybe she'll stop calling me puppy now.. it's not my fauly I'm still tiny!
I got my very own scrambled egg for breakfast! No humans ate any of it at all. Yum!
After breakfast mom put my black and white collar on me and my new black shirt (with a bow and RHINESTONES!! No one will mistake me for a boy today!) and we got in the car to go to the dog park. We have to drive an hour to get there, but boy is it worth it! So many cute boys to sniff!
I was the only one at the dogpark for a long time - I got to sniff EVERYTHING before everyone showed up. I think my friends must have known it was my birthday - they were all there! And so nice to me! Racer the Italian Greyhound didn't chase me even once! And Kenai the Sheltie came over and sniffed me - all I've ever wanted was for him to give me some attention! And Ozzie - my absolute favorite sat on my moms lap with me. It was heaven! My old buddie Reggie the Yorkie even came to the park. I was playing hard to get though, since I hadn't seen him in such a long time.
After we'd been at the park for almost 4 hours my mom took me to Petsmart and got me a present. She said I could have anything I wanted - I really did not want the coat she kept trying on me! So I talked her out of it and settled on a 36 pack of greenies. She said the bag of greenies weighs more than I do.
We left Petsmart when a mean Malamute came in and wouldn't leave. I tried to tell him he wasn't allowed by barking at him nonstop - everyone just laughed at me!
My mom took me to Wendy's afterwards and bought me my favorite chicken tenders. She took off the breading and gave me three of them!! That's more than she had! I LOVE birthdays!
Then we went to the mall, mom had to do something in that store with all the glasses, I didn't mind because everyone pets me so much there. After we were done we got in the car to drive home. I had a birthday greenie and fell asleep. I wish every day was my birthday!
