That's right, this ol lady has left the Big Apple and is back in the real City of America. We even moved into our old 'hood...just three blocks down. I still have my favorite park across the street, but we are closer to the wadeing pool! Now we have a pit bull that lives with us too. her name is Angel, she was adopted in Brooklyn NY, we saved her from there. She's going to be happy in MO. We have a fensed yard and the whole house to ourselves...and upstairs, ground floor, and a basement too. This will be a good winter! lots of room. The park across the street is so awsome to have. I get to walk off leash cuz I'm old and slow. They just go home and wait for me to catch up later :) I know my way, I'm just old, not stupid. Well just wanted to say Hi and let you know friends that I have moved home, I'm from NW Missouri you know. Charlie is still with me and now Angel and oh..PLUS foster dog Boomer (no pictures of him yet here). he's a rat terrier like Italian greyhound looking little guy..he's neat. Ok bye and keep in touch!
Mom is done with her summer school and will be sending for me or coming for me soon! I know she has been very busy in NYC with classes and all, but they found a place to have us and were are going to be with them before the the end of Aug...hopefully before the middle of Aug! Mom has to start teaching in late Aug. She has a part time job and that's taking more of her time. I'm waiting pretty good. I've peed in grandmas house a few times lately and I wondered off around the block to be "saved" by a young couple that worried that i crossed the street (I am old :). I want more attention I guess? I'm tired of being just one of seven dogs ...when I'm THE QUEEN dang it!
I'm going to be a city dog. My Mom is going to teach science to kids in Brooklyn NY. We need a home near a park! And she's looking.
And she got married, so we have a Dad now too.
We've stayed and visited often with Grandma and Pa, who are Parents to Hoola's pack. Charlie has been with me since last summer, he's not even on Dogster yet. (Grandma needs to add him!).
He lived with me and Mom in KCMO over the winter...now we are all here with GMom and Pa in a little town.... Me and Charlie with Mom and our new Dad too with Hoola, Morrocco, Maizy and Henry, June Lee and even Autumn is back for a short stay (her foster Mom is in Japan!). Mom leaves this week and Dad will take us and our stuff in July, when Mom gets a break to come back.
Wow, I'm old old old and yet I get a new look at life. I'm 16 yrs old. My Mom got me when she was a little girl in elementary school and I was a fuzzy little puppy!
I was fine with KC city life, but then I had a fensed yard and a park across the street. I'm going to enjoy all the people petting me in NY...Charlie will need to loosen up with strangers though. I know from my younger days that being pissy with strangers only gets your parents in trouble! :) I've been arrested a few times, I know what I'm talking about. Whish me luck. I feel like a kid again.
