Arrival Story:
Our son brought home this cute 5 lb. puppy. It was to be HIS dog. Then, due to circumstances he had to move away. I had our dog Sara, a beautiful, gentle loving Rhodesian at the time and told him he had to give Cleo up for adoption but with the arrangement that if the adoptive owner didnt want to or could not keep her she would be returned to me. Well, as fate would have it our Sara passed away due to illness in March 2003. We swore we would not have another dog until we retired. In September 2003 I came home from work to find a message on our machine from the adoptive owner of Cleo. He was moving to a metropolitan area and could not take her with him. Did I want her back? Oh, YES, I did. I was at his door which was 40 miles away within an hour and Cleo has been home again ever since. I regretted the day I let her go and fate brought her back to us. Now it is like she never ever left and I never plan to let her go again.

Bio:
Cleo is a Rott. She is gentle, loving, and although she looks and acts like a watchdog she wouldn't hurt her own fleas. She has a friend. Our cat Buddy and Cleo are best friends. It is amusing to see this large dog sharing her bed with Buddy. They also share Cleo's food and water....No wonder Buddy is over weight and is on a diet! That Buddy in the Tuxedo, isn't he cute?
