I have these great little pals named Boadie and Lord Percee Bear. They are both handsome, mischevious guys. To show their love for me, they "tagged" me!
This is a fun way for Dogsters to get to know each other. Here’s how we play: Each player starts with seven random facts about themselves. Dogs who are Tagged need to post in their Diary the rules and their 7 random facts. Then choose 7 pups to tag and list their names. Let them know by pmail or a rosette that they have been Tagged and to read your Diary for instructions on how to play.
Here are my 7 pawsome facts:
1. I weigh exactly 13 pounds,
2. I am a world-class snorer,
3. I take 5 different medications,
4. I am really good at completely ignoring the other dogs,
5. Mom puts bows and barettes in my hair to keep it out of my eyes,
6. I love pulling bows and barettes out of my hair,
7. My vets call me a miracle dog. I wasn't given such a good prognosis but I fooled them all!
Pals I am tagging:
1. Grandpa #619821
2. Bud #598390
3. Hairy H. Parker, Esq. #583302
4. Jack #406121
5. Lucy, Certified Therapy Dog #448230
6. Punkin #231970
7. Killer #491002
Have fun everybody!
Love to all,
Choo Choo

Dear Diary,
Now that I am feeling better, I can tell you about my ordeal. Last week Mom noticed that my appetite had decreased, so she took me in to my vet for an exam. I have had kidney disease for the 2 years my family has had me. There is no telling how long this went untreated before they rescued me. Until now, we have easily managed my condition with meds and a special diet. I have had no problems at all, until now - my kidney values had gone crazy in the 3 months since we checked them last. So my vet kept me and gave me IV fluids to regulate my values. After 4 days of the IV fluids, my values improved but not as much as we were hoping. Mom is giving me fluids under the skin twice daily. I am a great patient for this! The good news is that I feel GREAT! My appetite is good and I am spunky and interested in what is going on around me. I still sleep a lot, as always, but that's just me. Gotta get that beauty rest!
My recheck is scheduled for Wednesday. We are keeping our fingers and paws crossed that my values have improved a little. At this stage we are taking things one day at a time, and today has been a great one.
My best pals Foxy, Sassie, the Boyz (Bud and Zeke), Pappy and his pack have been sooooo kind and supportive. Little Coco Puff sent me the sweetest message with a star to guide me! My guardian angels Max and Prissy are watching over me, too. Thanks to all the pups who have sent me sweet get well messages and rosettes (thanks, Gunner!) everyone who has kept me in their prayers. More later!
Love,
Choo Choo

Hi Friends,
I just wanted to share with all of you why I am the luckiest girl in the world.
I have a comfortable, happy home with a family who adores me. My vets are the best around, and everybody at the clinic knows who I am! I always get lots of hugs and kisses from the staff. I have lots of sweaters and a heated bed to keep me warm. The food here is really good too - Mom is a great cook. I can't remember much about my life before I came here but I do have vague memories of scavaging for food around a greasy spoon diner and dodging cars.
My Dogster family is the best, too. I have so many caring pals and moms who have sent me sweet prayers and well wishes. Thank you everybody!
My recheck at the vet was Wednesday and the news was pretty good. My kidney values are still not normal but they have improved slightly. The best part is that I feel GREAT, and have a good appetite. Yay! We are taking this one day at a time, and today is a good day.
I hope all of you have a wonderful day with your families. Give them the sad eyes and maybe you will get a little more turkey!
Love,
Choo Choo

On December 10, 2007 we gave Choo Choo back to the angels. She was a brave little fighter but finally succumbed to her kidney disease. I am honored to have been her caregiver in her last years. In return she gave me her undying devotion and affection. I will always be grateful for my time with her. Ahhh, there is nothing like the love for a dog.
Choo Choo's mom,
Elizabeth

Hi Everypup,
I have been tagged by my fellow Angel, Precious. Here are a few facts about me:
1. My one trick - sit up, beg and bark 'til the food comes!
2. I was the Queen of our house - outta my way, kids!
3. I loved to snuggle with my mom and in my comfy beds.
4. My dad saved me from certain death while I was wandering around in a busy street. He was the only car who stopped for me. Thank goodness! I loved my adopted family very much.
5. On December 10, 2007, I went back to the angels.
6. I keep a very close eye from Heaven on my family.
Mom can only do 6 because she is getting teary.
Here are several angels we would like to know better:
