I know Sit & Down, & I can sing like nobody's business, but my Best trick is getting whatever I want by staring up at you with my BIG BROWN PUPPY DOG EYES! They haven't failed me yet!
Arrival Story:
Before my mama adopted me in 1999, I was rescued by the Nike Animal Rescue Foundation (NARF). I had been living in a feral state and was covered in mange and filth. Due to neglect, I was extremely weary and afraid of people. When My mama spotted me at a Petsmart adoption fair, she fell in love and has spoiled me rotten ever since. It does take some time for me to warm up to others and not be afraid, but I remain very protective of my mama (even though I've been told my bark is all talk)!
Bio:
Believe it or not, I gave birth to six baby girls while I was living at my old "home." We were all found together in the backyard and taken away because of our living conditions. Luckily, I got to see all my little girls get adopted out before my mama picked me!

Woweeeeeeeeeeeee!! I got a new brother for Christmas! His name is Freddie and Mama adopted him the day after Christmas. His former Daddy unfortunately can no longer care for him, as he is sick now himself. Freddie is an 8 year old Maltese and is ooodles of cute!! I didn't like sharing my bed with him at first, especially cause he sure is a bed hog, but I have grown to love him. I felt for him when Mama took him to the Vet to get squared away with his shots and stuff. That place can be awful scary! He sure was a trooper though! I don't know how I would have handled getting 7 of my teeth pulled out!! Mama says Freddie will be getting his own page soon, so don't forget to check out my new brother!

Even though Halloween is still a month away, mama picked out my costume the other day. She bought a "Princess" costume complete with a crown for me to wear. I like the dress, even though it makes me look like I have "human" arms. Mama says we'll post my picture in it soon so come back and check me out! Oh yeah, my dental cleaning went great; the extra TLC I got afterwards made it all worth it! :>

:sigh: It's that dreaded time of the year again! I overheard my mama scheduling my annual dental for this weekend. I know it's for my own good, but I just hate staying at the doctor's ALL day long! I miss my mama a lot, and knows she misses me (judging by the smothering I get when she picks me up at the end of the day). I just can't help the butterflies I get in my tummy, they almost make me wanna stop begging for those sweet treats I love so much. I guess I'll have to look on the bright side. This Saturday I'll be dining on mama's chicken and rice! ;>
