He barely tolerates even the best dog food, but chicken? Yum!

Favorite Walk:
Cooper doesn't walk.. he drags me to the Sherwood Park off leash area where he joyfully runs- and runs - and runs some more.

Best Tricks:
he sits for a treat and then expects you to throw it in the air - he also opens the fridge and the cupboards... there are baby latches everywhere! He rearranges the toss cushions in the living room and sun room every time I go out. A born decorator!

Arrival Story:
When I was looking for my Golden about 13 years ago, I went to dog shows to see Golden Retriever breeders and saw the most beautiful dog I'd ever seen. I went up to the breeder and said, What kind of dog is that? She said it's a Gordon Setter. So when I was looking for a second dog last year I decided to investigate Gordon Setters. I found a wonderful, wonderful breeder and put my name in for the one the pups... and voila! We have Cooper!

Bio:
Cooper is the smartest dog I have ever owned.... I have baby latches on the fridge and the cupboards because he uses his nose to open whatever he wants. He is big, bold and beautiful - but is also friendly and adorable.

He is a big boy... 80 lbs. Thinks he is still a pup though! He knows what he wants and tells me.... aroo, roo, rooooo, roo, roo, ru - seems to mean I want a treat.... Uses his great big paws to express himself too..."time to get up! (whack)
