Rawhide! She cannot go anywhere without carrying something in her mouth. She has several stuffed toys that make animal noises, like a lion that growls.
Pet-Peeves:
Aquinna is a very mellow lady and rarely gets kerfluffled; however, when she does become annoyed, it is because her adopted older brother, Atticus Jack Bauman, has stolen her chewy toy or rawhide treat away from her. She is, at last, just a wee bit bigge
Favorite Toy:
In no particular order, Aquinna enjoys a crew sock with a knot tied in it, two tennis balls--both of which she manages to lose at the same time!, and any small Barbie accessory that my granddaughter forgets to pick up.
Favorite Food:
She enjoys a bowl of Purina One for Puppies or Beneful for Puppies. She has yet to reject any little tidbit! And, disgustingly, her drinking fountain appears to be the toilet!
Favorite Walk:
She likes to go anywhere her Human is going--except the vet's office! Unless, of course, the trip is for her brother!
Best Tricks:
What? Dogs actually do tricks? Being a beautiful, calm lady isn't enough?
Arrival Story:
My pup, Atticus Jack Bauman, was such a handfull and so disliked by our two older dogs, Zoey (saved from animal control) and Jonah (we actually bought him for my daughter), that I thought another pup his age might be the answer. A friend of mine had a lab with a litter of nine pups, and she gave me the pick of the litter. I watched all the pups carefully and chose the absolute right one for our family--a chocolate female. I brought her home when she was seven weeks old. Aquinna is calm, gentle, fairly obedient, and has adjusted well. Atticus can no longer win at puppy sumo wrestling, since she now is several inches taller and ten pounds heavier than him. They are great buddies! Power to the pups!

Aquinna is now (August '07) MUCH bigger than her bratty little brother, Atticus, and doesn't take any grief from him, either! You go, Girl!!

The only naughty thing that Aquinna does is to jump on the kitchen table and lay under the ceiling fan to cool off on hot days. I don't really have the heart to be upset about it. She never gets on the table unless it is empty, which is a good thing!
