Arrival Story:
I already owned another Aussie - Shasta - and was interested in a red merle puppy. I went to Shasta's original house and was offered her mom - Marty. Her parents' had decided not to breed Aussies anymore and were looking for homes for 2 puppies, Marty and another male. I got Marty cause Shasta was well taken care of.

Bio:
I have only had Marty for 2 months now. She has put on weight and her fur has come back (she had recently had puppies). Marty is more adventuresome, even leaving my side at the dog park to get a drink and visit with the Aussie babies - when they come. She is smart and loving, and I can't believe she was just given to me. 5/4/11: Unfortunately our life has changed. We have lost our house (like many) and have had to re-home Marty. In October 2010 we fortunately found the perfect location for Marty and her daughter Shasta! On a small horse ranch in a neighboring town with a family that loves her very much. I am extremely thankful we were able to find the perfect location. I still love and miss them both very much.
